Cutting device for a face-to-face weaving machine, comprising a cutting knife and an upper () and a lower cutting rail () with an intermediate distance () which may be adjusted by means of one or several screw means (), the device comprising at least one first screw means () having a first () and a second threaded part with a mutually opposite screw thread having practically the same pitch, each threaded part () being designed in order to move a respective cutting rail as to height in the opposite direction, because of which the almost central position of the cutting knife with respect to the upper () and the lower () cutting rail is maintained, with the same deviation, when adapting the adjusted height of the jaw to a new height of the jaw.

A device for driving and guiding a rapier of a weaving machine, comprises a rotatable drive wheel () provided for driving a rapier rod () in a back and forth movement and a guide channel formed by adjustable guide bodies (), () in order to guide the said rapier rod () according to a guide path in co-operation with the drive wheel (). The guide bodies (), () are part of a guide unit () which, as a whole, is adjustable in order to modify the distance between the guide path and the rotation shaft () of the drive wheel (), and where the drive wheel () is continuously adjustable in the longitudinal direction of its shaft (). With this device the clearances of the rapier rod with respect to the drive wheel can be performed easily, rapidly and with great precision, so that this device is able to work with a minimum development of heat and wear.
