The present invention is directed towards an electrodepositable coating composition comprising a polyfarnesene polymer and an ionic salt group-containing film-forming polymer. Also disclosed are methods of coating a substrate using the electrodepositable coating composition, coatings derived from the electrodepositable coating composition, and substrates coated with the coatings derived from the electrodepositable coating composition.

Electrodepositable coating composition having improved crater control

The present invention is directed to an electrodepositable coating composition comprising an acrylic polymer comprising a polymerization product of a polymeric dispersant and an aqueous dispersion of a second-stage ethylenically unsaturated monomer composition comprising greater than 40% by weight of a second-stage hydroxyl-functional (meth)acrylate monomer, based on the total weight of the second-stage ethylenically unsaturated monomer composition; an ionic salt group-containing film-forming polymer different from the acrylic polymer; and a curing agent. Electrodepositable coating compositions

The present invention is directed towards an electrodepositable coating composition comprising a polybutylene oxide polymer, an ionic film-forming polymer having functional groups, and a curing agent that is reactive with functional groups on the film-forming polymer. Also disclosed are methods of making the electrodepositable coating composition. Also disclosed are substrates treated with the electrodepositable coating composition.

The present invention is directed towards an electrodepositable coating composition comprising a polyamine-dialdehyde adduct comprising a polymerization product of a polyamine and a dialdehyde. Compositions such as polymers, cured organic rubber articles, master batches and slurries containing the hydrophobic fillers are also described.

Hydrophobic particulate inorganic oxides and polymeric compositions containing same

Described is an improved process for producing hydrophobic particulate inorganic oxides useful for reinforcing polymeric compositions, e.g., rubber, by using a certain amount of hydrophobizing agents in an aqueous suspension of inorganic oxide having a pH of 2.5 or less and increasing the pH of the suspension after hydrophobizing the filler.
