The present disclosure relates to an electroluminescence display having enhanced display quality by reducing reflection of external light. An electroluminescence display comprises: a light shielding layer on a substrate, the light shielding layer including a first metal layer and a second metal layer on the first metal layer; a first buffer layer at least partially covering the light shielding layer on the substrate; a second buffer layer on the first buffer layer; a gate insulating layer on the second buffer layer; a gate line on the gate insulating layer and non-overlapping with the light shielding layer, the gate line including a third metal layer and a fourth metal layer on the third metal layer; a passivation layer at least partially covering the gate line; a planarization layer on the passivation layer; and an emission element including a first electrode, an emission layer, and a second electrode sequentially arranged on the planarization layer.

Electroluminescence display

A display apparatus can include a first subpixel and a second subpixel disposed on a substrate; a first electrode in each of the first subpixel and the second subpixel; a light-emitting layer on the first electrode in each of the first and second subpixels; and a second electrode on the light-emitting layer, in which a structure of the first electrode in the first subpixel is different than a structure of the first electrode in the second subpixel.

Display apparatus

A stretchable display device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a first substrate including an active area, a non-active area adjacent to the active area, and a pad area extending from a side of the non-active area; a plurality of second substrates are spaced apart from each other on the first substrate; and connecting lines electrically connecting pads disposed on the second substrates adjacent to each other of the plurality of second substrates. The plurality of second substrates includes a first set disposed in the non-active area, a second set disposed in the active area and a third set disposed in the pad area. Accordingly, a stretchable display device according to an aspect of the present disclosure may stretch throughout not only the active area, but also the non-active area and the pad area.

Stretchable display device

A display device includes a lower substrate that includes a first substrate, and a plurality of second substrates on the first substrate. The plurality of second substrates have higher rigidity than a rigidity of the first substrate. The plurality of second substrates may be spaced apart from each other. The lower substrate also includes one or more light emitting elements disposed on each of the plurality of second substrates.

Stretchable display panel and stretchable display device including the same

A stretchable display device having a pliant substrate and a plurality of rigid substrates positioned on the first substrate spaced a first selected distance apart from each other. The pliant substrate having a having a first modulus of elasticity and the second substrates having a second modulus of elasticity that is greater than first modulus of elasticity. There is a semiconductor circuit have a semiconductor transistor and positioned on each of the rigid substrates. At least some of the rigid substrates also include an organic light emitting diode formed thereon. The pliant substrate is configured to stretch, moving the rigid substrates a second distance apart from each other that is greater than the first selected distance. Electrically conductive lines extend between respective ones of the second substrates, each of the electrically conductive lines being configured to stretch to maintain the rigid substrates electrically connected to each other when spaced the first distance apart from each other and also when they are spaced the second, greater distance from each other.

A display apparatus can include a substrate having a light emitting area, a light emitting device disposed at the light emitting area on the substrate, at least one light exiting area disposed in the light emitting area, a light blocking layer disposed at the light emitting area and overlapping the at least one light exiting area, and a light guide part disposed at the light emitting area and configured to guide light generated in the light emitting device to the at least one light exiting area.

Provided is a stretchable display device. The transparent display panel includes a plurality of transmissive areas transmitting incident light and a plurality of emissive areas emitting light and a light control device disposed on one surface of the transparent display panel to execute a transmissive mode, where incident light is transmitted, and a light shield mode where incident light is blocked. The light control device includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a liquid crystal cell provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a partition wall maintaining a cell gap of the liquid crystal cell. The partition wall has a honeycomb structure, and a plurality of column spacers are disposed between partition walls.

Light control device, transparent display device including the same, and method of manufacturing the same

A light control device and a transparent display device including the same are discussed. In the light control device, a sealant uniformly spreads in a bonding process. The light control device includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a first electrode over one surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate, a second electrode over one surface of the second substrate facing the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, a sealant sealing a plurality of liquid crystal cells between the first substrate and the second substrate, a first dam structure in a boundary between the sealant and the liquid crystal, and a second dam structure surrounding an outer side of the sealant. The liquid crystal layer transmits or blocks light, and the first dam structure surrounds an inner side of the sealant contacting the liquid crystal cells.
