A WLAN system resource indication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: generating, by an access point, a frame that carries resource indication information; and sending, to multiple stations, the frame that carries the resource indication information. The resource indication information includes multiple pieces of sub resource indication information. Correspondingly, each piece of the sub resource indication information uniquely corresponds to one of the multiple stations. Therefore, a station side does not need read the entire resource indication information, so as to reduce resource overheads and improve efficiency.

WLAN system resource indication method and apparatus

Embodiments relate to the field of wireless communication technologies and provide a method for performing channel sounding, a network-side device, and a terminal. A first terminal sends a resource scheduling request to a network-side device when the first terminal starts a communication connection with a second terminal. The resource scheduling request carrying information about the second terminal requests the network-side device to allocate a transmission resource for channel sounding between the first terminal and the second terminal. The first terminal receives a sounding reference signal sent by the second terminal, and obtains information of a channel for communication between the first terminal and the second terminal. The method enables quick and effective channel sounding between terminals, thereby increasing communication efficiency between the terminals.

One embodiment of the invention describes a synchronization signal sending method applied to an unlicensed frequency band. To ensure transmission fairness, a network device performs listen before talk (LBT) before a start time for transmitting a synchronization signal, to determine whether a channel is busy or idle. When the channel is busy, the network device cannot transmit the synchronization signal at the expected start time for transmitting the synchronization signal. Therefore, the network device performs LBT again within a preset time length after the start time, and sends the synchronization signal when determining that the channel is idle by performing LBT again. When the channel is idle, the network device preempts a channel resource, and sends the synchronization signal the expected start time for transmitting the synchronization signal.

Embodiments of this disclosure disclose an uplink signal transmission method, which comprises: reserving, by a first terminal, a first time interval on an uplink data transmission channel, where the first terminal does not send uplink data within the first time interval, the first time interval is used by a second terminal to perform channel listening before sending a random access preamble, and the first time interval is determined by using one or more of the following parameters: a start moment at which the uplink data transmission channel arrives at a network device, an end moment at which the uplink data transmission channel arrives at the network device, a start moment at which the second terminal performs the channel listening, an end moment at which the second terminal performs the channel listening, duration in which the second terminal performs the channel listening, or an uplink timing advance of the first terminal.
