The disclosure provides a mixed rendering system and a mixed rendering method. The mixed rendering system includes a client device configured to perform: determining at least one user-interactable object of a virtual environment; rendering the at least one user-interactable object; receiving a background scene frame of the virtual environment; blending the at least one rendered user-interactable object with the background scene frame as a visual content of the virtual environment; and providing the visual content of the virtual environment.

The embodiments of the disclosure provide a background skybox constructing method and an electronic device. The method includes: obtaining a first content frame and re-projecting the first content frame, wherein the re-projected first content frame corresponds to a first visual angle and includes a plurality of first objects; in response to determining that the first content frame has a first depth map characterizing a depth of each first object, dividing the first objects into N first groups based on the depth of each first object, wherein N is a positive integer; constructing a first part of each of N skybox layers based on the N first groups, wherein the first part of each skybox layer corresponds to the first visual angle; and combining the re-projected first content frame with the N skybox layers to generate a first visual content and outputting the first visual content.

Background skybox constructing method and electronic device

A method, system and recording medium for adaptive interleaved image warping are provided. The method is applicable to a display system having a head-mounted device (HMD) and a computing device. In the method, the computing device generates a plurality of image frames to be displayed on the HMD according to a frame rate, wherein the image frames generated to be displayed on a first display and a second display at a same time point comprise a first frame with a first resolution and a second frame with a second resolution lower than the first resolution. The generated image frames are transferred from the computing device to the HMD. The HMD restores the second frames with the second resolution among the image frames to a regular resolution of the first display and the second display, and then interleaved displays the first frames and the restored second frames on the first display and the second display.

The tracking system includes a controller, a server and an electronic device. The electronic device includes a processor and a displayer. The controller is configured for providing a first tracking data and a second tracking data. The electronic device is configured for providing a first viewing data and a second viewing data. The server is configured for generating a first image according to the first tracking data and the first viewing data received from the electronic device. The processor is configured for receiving the first image and generating a second image according to the first image, the second tracking data and the second viewing data. The displayer is configured for displaying a simulated scenario according to the second image.

The disclosure proposes a head-mounted display system, a method for adaptively adjusting a hidden area mask, and a computer program product. The method includes: displaying a plurality of first content to an eye of a wearer of the head mounted display system, wherein the first content is masked by a first hidden area mask; capturing a plurality of first eye images of the eye and obtaining an eyesight of the eye based on the first eye images; adjusting the first hidden area mask to be a second hidden area mask based on the eyesight of the eye; and displaying a second content to the eye, wherein the second content is masked by the second hidden area mask.
