A method of forming a copolymer is provided, which includes (i) mixing a diamine and a diester to form a mixture, and heating the mixture to form a diamine compound, wherein the diamine compound has a chemical structure of (ii) mixing the diamine compound and a diacid to form a diamine-diacid salt, wherein the diamine-diacid salt has a chemical structure of and (iii) heating the diamine-diacid salt to polymerize the diamine-diacid salt for forming a copolymer, wherein the copolymer has a repeating unit with a chemical structure of wherein n=2-12, R is and m=2-12.

Diamine-diacid salt, copolymer and method for manufacturing the same

A copolymer, and a method for preparing a monomer used to form the copolymer are provided. The copolymer is a reaction product of a first monomer and a second monomer. In particular, the first monomer has a structure represented by Formula (I), and the second monomer has a structure represented by Formula (II), Formula (III), or Formula (IV)  n is a positive integer from 2 to 10; and, l is a positive integer from 1 to 5.

Further, a method for preparing this superabsorbent polymer network is disclosed. Also disclosed is a method of determining a ratio between two monomeric moieties in a superabsorbent polymer network formed of two monomers.

In one embodiment of the disclosure, a composite raw material and a method for forming the same are provided. The method includes sulfonating a polycyclic aromatic compound to form a polycyclic aromatic carbon sulfonate (PCAS); and mixing the polycyclic aromatic carbon sulfonate and a polyacrylonitrile (PAN) to form a composite raw material. In another embodiment of the disclosure, a carbon fiber containing the composite raw material described above and a method for forming the same are provided.

In one embodiment of the disclosure, a copolymer and method for manufacturing the same are provided. The copolymer is copolymerized from a composition including: (a) a first hydrophilic monomer, including itaconamic acid, itaconamic salt, or combinations thereof; and (b) a second hydrophilic monomer, including acrylic acid, acrylic salt, acrylamide, or combinations thereof.

Copolymer and method for manufacturing the same

A precursor raw material for the PAN-based carbon fibers represented by Formula (I) is provided.  In Formula (I), R is methyl, ethyl or propyl, x+z=0.5-20.0 mol %, z&#x2267;0.5 mol %, y=99.5-80.0 mol % and x+y+z=100 mol %. The invention also provides a PAN-based oxidized fiber and a PAN-based carbon fiber prepared by the precursor raw material for the PAN-based carbon fibers.

The method further adds the second compound and the lactide, wherein the second compound and the lactide have a total weight less than the first compound, the second compound and the lactide in the prior mixing step. Aliphatic copolyesters and method of preparing the same

A phosphine-based polymer having Formula (I) is provided. The invention also provides a poly(lactic acid) material including poly(lactic acid) and the disclosed phosphine-based polymer, wherein the phosphine-based polymer has a weight ratio of 0.05-10 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the poly(lactic acid).
