A person positioning and health care monitoring system includes a monitoring center, a RFID tag device, and a tracking module. The monitoring center includes positioning data corresponding to a target. The RFID tag device is located on the target and includes a memory storing a target identification (ID) number and an infrared LED. Each tracking module includes infrared cameras and an RFID device. The tracking module uses the RFID device to communicate with the RFID tag device so as to receive the target identification (ID) number. The tracking module communicates with the monitoring center so as to provide the target identification (ID) number and orientation data corresponding to the target for the monitoring center. The monitoring center determines coordinates of the target according to coordinates of the tracking module and the orientation data corresponding to the target.

A foldable and flexible ultrasonic vibration mask for cleaning teeth comprises two upper devices and two lower devices. Each upper device comprises a flexible substrate, coils configured to generate ultrasonic sound and formed on the flexible substrate, coils configured to generate audible sound and formed on the flexible substrate, a resonance chamber attached to the flexible substrate and including a magnetic alloy. Each lower device includes a flexible substrate, coils configured to generate ultrasonic sound and formed on the flexible substrate, and a resonance chamber attached to the flexible substrate and including a magnetic alloy. The flexible substrates of the two upper devices are fixed together. The flexible substrates of each upper device and a corresponding lower device are fixed together. The flexible substrates of the two lower devices are fixed together.

Foldable and flexible ultrasonic vibration mask for teeth cleaning

A method used for a biomedical system is disclosed. The biomedical system includes an RFID apparatus and a reader apparatus communicating with the RFID apparatus. The RFID apparatus includes an electrode disposed adjacent to an acupuncture point and a motion monitor device including an accelerometer, a gyrocompass, or a pressure sensor. The method includes sending command information to the RFID apparatus from the reader apparatus; obtaining acupuncture impedance or bio-potential data through an electrode; providing nerve stimulation therapy by the RFID apparatus according to the command information, or using, by the RFID apparatus, the accelerometer, the gyrocompass, or the pressure sensor to obtain measurement data according to the command information; and submitting the acupuncture impedance/bio-potential data or the measurement data to the reader apparatus by the RFID apparatus.

Method for biomedical system

A touch panel comprises a plurality of basic sensing-units arranged in a matrix. The basic sensing-unit comprises a pressure-sensing transistor and a selection transistor. The pressure-sensing transistor comprises a first terminal, a second terminal, a gate electrode, a mask layer, a channel connecting the first and second terminals, a dielectric layer formed on the channel, and a piezoelectric material deposited on the dielectric layer. The piezoelectric material may comprise PVDF, lead zirconate titanate, ZnO, BaTiO, LiNbO, or PbTiO. The selection transistor comprises a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. The first terminal of the selection transistor connects to a sensing electrode of the touch panel, the second terminal of the selection transistor connects to the first terminal of the pressure sensing transistor, and the third terminal of the selection transistor is a transistor gate and connects to a drive electrode of the touch panel.

Touch panel and method of forming the same

An electrostatic and piezoelectric touch panel includes a first switching circuit, a second switching circuit, at least one first sensing device, and at least one second sensing device. The first sensing device includes a first transistor and a piezoelectric-transistor. The first transistor and the piezoelectric-transistor are series-connected between a power source and ground. The first switching circuit connects to a connection point between the first transistor and the piezoelectric-transistor. The second sensing device includes a second transistor and two parallel-connected electrostatic to transistors. The second transistor and the two parallel-connected electrostatic transistors are series-connected between a negative power source and ground. The first switching circuit connects to a connection point between the second transistor and the two parallel-connected electrostatic transistors. Gates of the first and second transistors connect to the second switching circuit. The two parallel-connected electrostatic transistors include different types of doped semiconductor materials.

Electrostatic and piezoelectric touch panel

A composite navigation system includes a first RFID apparatus, a GPS receiver, and a signal processing system. The first RFID apparatus includes an RFID chip and an antenna, a plurality of inclinometers, a plurality of linear accelerometers, and a plurality of angular accelerometers. The processing system includes a first RFID reader and a Kalman filter. The first RFID apparatus can communicate with the first RFID reader. The Kalman filter connects to the GPS receiver and the first RFID reader.

Composite navigation system

A nozzle device includes an upper cover module having a cavity, a plurality of stacked piezoelectric plate modules, a plug module, and a lower cover module. Each piezoelectric plate module includes a substrate, a piezoelectric material, an electrical connection, an upper electrode, and a lower electrode. The substrate includes multiple first through holes disposed correspondingly to the cavity. The piezoelectric material is located on the upper surface of the substrate. The electrical connection extends from the lower surface of the substrate, through the substrate, and to the bottom of the piezoelectric material. The lower electrode is located below the lower surface of the substrate and electrically connects to the electrical connection. The plug module includes plugs and second through holes corresponding to the first through holes. The lower cover module includes openings disposed according to the plugs of the plug module.

A thermal convection-type accelerometer includes a first insulating substrate, a circuit formed on the first insulating substrate, a first acceleration-sensing device coupled with the circuit, and a first supporting layer attached on the insulating substrate. The first acceleration-sensing device includes two temperature-sensing components and a heater disposed between the temperature-sensing components. The temperature-sensing components and the heater are directly formed on the first supporting layer.

A vertical probe card includes a bottom substrate, a top substrate, an interposer, a first set of electrically conductive polymer contacts, a second set of electrically conductive polymer contacts, a first anisotropic conductive film, and a second anisotropic conductive film. The interposer is disposed between the bottom substrate and the top substrate. The first set of electrically conductive polymer contacts is disposed on the surface of the bottom substrate opposite to the interposer. The second set of electrically conductive polymer contacts is disposed on the surface of the top substrate opposite to the interposer. The first set of electrically conductive polymer contacts are arranged differently from the second set of electrically conductive polymer contacts. The first anisotropic conductive film is disposed between the bottom substrate and the interposer, and configured to electrically connect the bottom substrate and the interposer. The second anisotropic conductive film is disposed between the interposer and the top substrate, and configured to electrically connect the interposer and the top substrate.

Vertical probe card and method for manufacturing the same

A bio-impedance measurement apparatus includes a flexible band member, two probe sets attached to the flexible band member, a measurement device, and a wireless device. One probe set includes a probe having a tip portion configured to pierce the skin for an acupuncture point. Another probe set, used as an electrical ground, includes a probe configured to contact the reference skin at a region. The measurement device is disposed on the flexible band member and electrically coupled to the two probe sets for provision of an impulse current signal to the acupuncture point. The measurement device can amplify and measure the voltage response across the acupuncture points and the ground. The amplified signal is converted to a digital signal. The wireless device is configured to transmit the acupuncture code and impedance information to a remote monitor station. The bio-impedance measurement apparatus is disposed on a wearable sock or glove.

A power semiconductor device comprises a substrate, a first electrode, a conductive layer, at least one electrical connecting element, a plurality of doped semiconductor layers, an insulating layer, and a second electrode. The first electrode is formed on a surface of the substrate. The conductive layer is formed on another surface of the substrate. The electrical connecting element is formed through the substrate and electrically connects the first electrode and the conductive layer. The doped semiconductor layers are stacked on the conductive layer. The upper most semiconductor layer comprises two doped sub-regions. The insulating layer is formed on the plurality of doped semiconductor layers. The second electrode is formed on the insulating layer and at least extends on an area between the doped sub-regions.

Power semiconductor device and method for manufacturing the same

A thermal convection type angular accelerometer includes an insulating substrate and an angular acceleration sensing device. The angular acceleration sensing device is disposed on the insulating substrate. The angular acceleration sensing device is configured to measure an angular acceleration of a rotation axis. The angular acceleration sensing device comprises a sensing group. The sensing group comprises two temperature sensing members and a heater disposed between the two temperature sensing members. The distance between two ends of the two temperature sensing members near the rotation axis is greater than the distance between the other two ends of the two temperature sensing members that are farther from the rotation axis.

Another probe set, used as an electrical ground, includes a probe that contacts the reference skin. Bio-impedance measurement apparatus and assembly

An electro-acoustic transducer includes an insulative flexible substrate, a base, and a magnetic field generator. The base includes a cavity and a magnetic portion disposed below the cavity. The insulative flexible substrate is configured to cover the cavity. The magnetic field generator can be disposed on the insulative flexible substrate and corresponds to the cavity. The magnetic field generator can produce a magnetic field and a reverse magnetic field to cause the magnetic field generator and the magnetic portion of the base to attract and repel each other, thereby vibrating the insulative flexible substrate.
