A battery and a battery manufacturing method are provided. The battery includes a battery casing, a cell, a first insulating film, and a second insulating film. The cell is disposed in the battery casing and includes a cell body and a tab portion, and the tab portion extends from a side surface of the cell body. The first insulating film covers at least a portion of the cell body. The second insulating film is independent from the first insulating film. The second insulating film covers an upper surface of the first insulating film and covers at least a portion of the tab portion, and the first insulating film is located between the cell body and the second insulating film.

Battery and battery manufacturing method

A battery includes a first casing. The first casing includes a first metal piece and a second metal piece disposed inside the first metal piece, such that the first metal piece forms an outer surface of the first casing and the second metal piece forms an inner surface of the first casing. A material of the first metal piece is inconsistent with a material of the second metal piece. A corrosion potential of the second metal piece is higher than a corrosion potential of the first metal piece, and the corrosion potential of the second metal piece is higher than a negative electrode potential of the battery.

The battery manufacturing method includes: providing a first housing, including a bottom wall and a side wall, wherein the side wall extends upward from the bottom wall, the side wall encloses to form an opening, the side wall extends outward from the opening to form a first flange, and a first reinforcing part is formed on the first flange; providing a second housing, wherein the second housing includes an intermediate part and a second flange, the intermediate part covers the opening, and the second flange is in contact with the first flange; and welding the first flange and the second flange.
