A method for manufacturing a display device includes: forming a first active pattern in a display area; forming a first insulation layer covering the first active pattern; forming a first gate metal pattern including a first gate electrode overlapping the first active pattern; forming a second insulation layer covering the first gate metal pattern; forming a second gate metal pattern overlapping the first gate metal pattern; forming a third insulation layer covering the second gate metal pattern; forming a second active pattern on the third insulation layer; forming a third gate metal pattern including: a second gate electrode overlapping the second active pattern; and a bridge pattern, the bridge pattern being disposed in a peripheral area surrounding the display area; forming a fourth insulation layer covering the third gate metal pattern; and forming a source metal pattern disposed on the fourth insulation layer, the source metal pattern including: a first power wiring pattern; and a second power wiring pattern spaced apart from the first power wiring pattern, wherein the first power wiring pattern and the second power wiring pattern are disposed in the peripheral area contacting the bridge pattern.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, a thin film transistor in the display area, a first insulating layer, the first insulating layer covering the thin film transistor, a signal line on the first insulating layer, the signal line being coupled to the thin film transistor, a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer, the second insulating layer covering the signal line, a power supply line in the peripheral area, the power supply line configured to supply power to a pixel circuit including the thin film transistor, and a first dam including a multilayer structure on the power supply line and overlapping at least a part of the power supply line, in which multilayer structure including a lowermost layer including the same material as the second insulating layer, and the lowermost layer is above the power supply line.

Display device with multilayer dams

A display device including an input sensor divided into a plurality of first sensing areas and a plurality of second sensing areas, which are alternately disposed, and the plurality of first sensing areas and the plurality of second sensing areas have the same area. Each of the plurality of first sensing areas and the plurality of second sensing areas includes a corresponding crossing area of crossing areas between a plurality of first sensing electrodes and a plurality of second sensing electrodes. Openings of the sensing electrodes disposed on each of the plurality of first sensing areas have a first arrangement, and openings of the sensing electrodes disposed on each of the plurality of second sensing areas have a second arrangement different from the first arrangement.

Display device

A display device includes: a base layer including an active area and a non-active area adjacent to the active area; a display circuit layer including a pixel circuit at the active area of the base layer, and a driving circuit at the non-active area, the driving circuit to supply a driving signal to the pixel circuit; and a display element layer on the display circuit layer and including light emitting elements to emit light. The non-active area includes a valley area formed by removing a portion of an organic insulation layer at the display circuit layer, the driving circuit includes a buffer transistor to output the driving signal, and the buffer transistor includes a control electrode and a semiconductor layer overlapping the valley area in a plan view.

A display device includes: a substrate including a display area where pixels are arranged and a non-display area positioned around the display area; first crack detection lines disposed in the non-display area; a first dam positioned between the first crack detection lines and the display area; a second dam between the first dam and the first crack detection lines and including sub-layers; a common voltage line disposed in the non-display area, and which provides a common voltage to the pixels, and includes a concave part defined at an edge of the common voltage line facing the first crack detection lines; a second crack detection line electrically connected to the first crack detection lines, positioned between the first crack detection lines and the display area, and including a first line part and a first connection part contacting the first line part through a first contact hole overlapping one of the sub-layers.

A display device including an input sensor having sensing electrodes disposed in a sensing area and signal lines. Each of the signal lines is connected to a corresponding electrode of the sensing electrodes and disposed in the line area. One signal line of the signal lines includes a first portion having a constant width, a second portion disposed outside a corner area of the sensing area, extending from the first portion, and having a width gradually increasing in a direction that is away from the first portion, a third portion extending from the second portion and having a width gradually varying in a direction that is away from the second portion, and a fourth portion extending from the third portion and having a constant width.

An input sensing unit including a plurality of first electrodes, which are arranged in a first direction and each of which extends in a second direction crossing the first direction, a plurality of row electrode each of which includes a second electrode and a third electrode, a plurality of first sensing lines respectively connected to the first electrodes, a plurality of second sensing lines respectively connected to the second electrodes, and a third sensing line connected to each of the third electrodes. Each of the row electrodes includes one side and the other side, which are opposed to each other in the first direction, and the one side is connected to one of one second sensing line and one third sensing line of the second sensing lines, and the other side is connected to the other of the second sensing lien and the third sensing line.

Input sensing unit and display apparatus including the same

A display apparatus includes a substrate, a wire having an inner edge including first and second portions, a first insulating layer covering a portion of the substrate, and a second insulating layer. The portion of the substrate covered by the first insulating layer is closer to a center of the substrate than the wire, the first insulating layer covers a part of the first portion of the wire and a part of the second portion of the wire, and a first end of the first insulating layer is disposed on the wire. The second insulating layer covers the first insulating layer and has a second end disposed on the wire. A distance between the first end and the second end covering the first portion of the wire is different from a distance between the first end and the second end covering the second portion of the wire.

An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes a substrate, pixels, a pixel defining layer (PDL), a first via layer, a second via layer, first lines, and a second line. The display area includes a first display area and a second display area arranged with the trench portion therebetween to display an image. A thin-film transistor and a display element are each arranged in the display area. A built-in circuit portion is over the peripheral area and is adjacent to the trench portion. A first wiring is in the first display area and a second wiring is in the second display area. A connecting wiring connects the first wiring to the second wiring and overlaps the built-in circuit portion.
