There is provided a container including: a case with an opening and having a lower wall and a lateral wall, a cover configured to move between a first position blocking part of the opening of the case, and a second position uncovering the opening of the case, a pouch having a flexible bag and a vent plug, and a locking part configured to move between a position to lock the cover on the case, and a position to unlock the same. The opening exposes an internal space via part of the lateral wall. The lateral wall defining the opening has a locking portion to lock the vent plug. When the cover is in the first position, a leading end of the cover defines the opening. The locking part is positioned at the lateral wall defining the opening or at the leading end.

Container and method for producing container

There is provided liquid discharging head including common liquid chambers each extends along first direction and arranged in second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and individual channels each communicates with one of the common liquid chambers and each has nozzle. The liquid discharging head has first and second ends in the second direction. The common liquid chambers include intermediate common liquid chamber interposed between two of the common liquid chambers and expanded common liquid chamber closest to the first end, length of the expanded common chamber in the second direction being longer than length of the intermediate common chamber in the second direction. The nozzles of the individual channels communicating with the expanded common chamber are positioned on a side of the second end with respect to the expanded common chamber without being positioned on a side of the first end with respect to the expanded common chamber.

Liquid discharging head and printing apparatus

There is provided liquid discharge head including: channel substrate which has first surface; and actuator substrate having second surface. A trap chamber configured such that the adhesive is trapped in the trap chamber in a case that the first and second surfaces are adhered to each other, an inflow channel configured such that the adhesive flows into the inflow channel, and an atmosphere communicating channel are formed in the channel substrate. The trap chamber has first and second ends in first direction and first and second ends in second direction. End of the inflow channel is located at the first end in the first direction and the second end in the second direction of the trap chamber. End of the atmosphere communicating channel is located at the second end in the first direction and the first end in the second direction of the trap chamber.

Liquid discharge head

A liquid discharging head includes: manifolds to which liquid is supplied; at least one nozzle row associated with each of the manifolds; and a communicating channel directly connecting two manifolds which are included in the manifolds and which are adjacent to each other. The at least one nozzle row includes nozzles configured to discharge the liquid, the nozzles communicating with one manifold with which the at least one nozzle row is associated. A first number is a number of the nozzle row associated with one of the two manifolds and a second number is a number of the nozzle row associated with the other of the two manifolds, and a cross-sectional area of the communicating channel is different between a case that a first number and a second number are same, and another case that the first number and the second number are different.

Liquid discharging head

There is provided a liquid discharge head including: a plurality of nozzles arranged in a first direction; a plurality of pressure chambers; a plurality of throttles; and a common channel extending in the first direction and connected to the plurality of throttles. The common channel has: a supply port, and a terminal part which is at least one of both end parts in the first direction of the common channel, the supply port being not provided at the terminal part. A terminal throttle which is one of the plurality of throttles and which is positioned closest to the terminal part among the plurality of throttles has a channel resistance same as a channel resistance of a throttle of the plurality of throttles different from the terminal throttle, and extends from a connection between the terminal throttle and one of the plurality of pressure chambers to the terminal part.

A liquid discharge head includes: nozzles aligned on a nozzle surface; a supply manifold configured that a liquid is supplied therein from the outside of the liquid discharge head; a return manifold which is arranged between the nozzle surface and the supply manifold in a first direction, which is configured that the liquid is flown out therefrom to the outside of the liquid discharge head, and which is provided with a return damper part; and individual flow channels each of which corresponds to one of the nozzles. Each of the individual flow channels has a return throttle channel communicating the corresponding nozzle with the return manifold and being arranged between the return manifold and the nozzle surface in the first direction. The return manifold has a compliance larger than a compliance of the supply manifold.

A liquid discharge head includes a channel unit. The channel unit is formed therein with: a plurality of individual channels aligning in a first direction, a common channel extending in the first direction, a supply hole in communication with the common channel, and a damper chamber provided in a position overlapping with the supply hole in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The channel unit includes a first plate having a first surface where a recess is formed to constitute the damper chamber, and a second plate having a second surface attached to the first surface via an adhesive. A protrusion is provided on a bottom of such a first part of the recess as overlaps with the supply hole in the second direction.

Liquid discharge head and method for manufacturing liquid discharge head

There is provided a liquid discharging head including: a pressure chamber configured to apply a pressure to a liquid so as to discharge the liquid from a nozzle; a descender arranged to overlap, in a plan view, with the nozzle and communicating the pressure chamber and the nozzle with each other; at least one return throttle channel connected to the descender; and a return manifold which communicates with the at least one return throttle channel and which is configured to receive the liquid not having been discharged from the nozzle. A cross section of the descender orthogonal to a depth direction of the descender is a non-circular shape having a major axis and a minor axis. The at least one return throttle channel is connected to at least one of a first end side of the minor axis and a second end side of the minor axis.

A liquid discharging head includes: a supply hole to which liquid is supplied from outside thereof; a plurality of supply manifolds arranged below the supply hole, extending in an extending direction respectively, and configured to communicate with the supply hole; and at least one partition wall configured to partition the supply manifolds from each other. Each of the supply manifolds has a manifold hole below the supply hole, the supply manifolds communicate with each other in a common space below the at least one partition wall, and the manifold hole of one supply manifold is arranged so that another manifold hole of another supply manifold is not located on an extension line, of the manifold hole, along the extending direction.

A liquid discharge head is provided, the liquid discharge head comprising a plurality of individual channels, a first manifold connected to the plurality of individual channels, a second manifold connected to the plurality of individual channels, and a bypass channel connecting the first manifold and the second manifold and being distinct from the individual channels. There is provided a liquid discharge head including: a plurality of first individual channels; a first supply manifold; a first return manifold; a plurality of second individual channels; a second supply manifold; a second return manifold; and a first bypass channel communicating the first supply manifold and the second return manifold. The first bypass channel includes: a first supply connecting channel, a first return connecting channel, and a first connecting channel. Channel resistance in one of the first supply connecting channel and the first return connecting channel is greater than channel resistance in the first connecting channel.

A liquid discharging head is provided with: individual channels; a first common channel; and a second common channel. The individual channels include: first individual channels which have first pressure chambers and which are aligned in a second direction to form a first individual channel array, and second individual channels which have second pressure chambers and which are aligned in the second direction to form a second individual channel array; the first individual channel array and the second individual channel array are arranged in a third direction. The first common channel communicates with both of the first individual channels and the second individual channels; and the first pressure chambers and the second pressure chambers do not overlap with the second common channel in a first direction, and do not overlap with each other in the second direction.

In a liquid ejection head, an ejection pressure is applied to a pressure chamber for liquid ejection from a nozzle. A descender extends in a first direction and includes a first end connected to the pressure chamber and a second end. A communication passage is connected to the second end, extends in a second direction crossing the first direction, and has a first dimension in the first direction. The nozzle is positioned at the communication passage such that a shortest distance between an outer periphery thereof and a center of the second end is greater than 0.5 times a second dimension of the second end in the second direction. When viewed in the first direction, the center of the second end and a center of a cross-section defined by the nozzle to be orthogonal to an extending direction of the nozzle intersect an axis of the communication passage.

Liquid ejection head

A liquid discharge apparatus is provided, including a liquid discharge head including: an upper substrate, a plurality of piezoelectric elements, an intermediate substrate, a lower substrate and a plurality of individual traces arranged on the upper substrate and extending toward the contacts arranged on the one end side in the second direction from the plurality of piezoelectric elements respectively.

Liquid discharge apparatus and method for manufacturing the same

A liquid discharging apparatus includes a liquid discharging head having nozzles, a tank which stores liquid, and a controller. The controller causes the liquid discharging head to perform a discharging operation for discharging the liquid from the nozzles based on a discharging data. The discharging data includes unit discharging data indicating whether the liquid is to be discharged from the nozzles within a predetermined time period. In the discharging operation, a) if a discharge amount based on the unit discharging data is less than a threshold value, the liquid discharging head performs a first discharging operation during the predetermined time period, and b) if the discharge amount based on the unit discharging data is equal to or more than the threshold value, the liquid discharging head performs a second discharging operation during another time period longer than the predetermined time period.
