A cell module includes a plurality of cells that each have a cylindrical shape and include a positive-electrode terminal and a negative-electrode terminal disposed on one end of the cell. One of the terminals is located at a center, and the other terminal is located on a circumferential edge and is electrically connected to a side surface of a tube of each of the cells, a connection intervening member mounted on the other terminal includes a tab extending along the side surface of the tube and electrically connected to the side surface, and a hole that causes the center of the one end to be exposed. The plurality of cells make up a cell block where the one ends are oriented in an identical direction, and cells adjacent to each other are aligned in rows, on the one ends of the plurality of cells, a plate having electrical insulating properties is disposed, the plate is provided with a hole that causes the one end of each of the cells to be exposed and is further provided with a plurality of conductive members on a surface of the plate distant from the cells, the conductive members extend along the rows of the cells aligned, two of the conductive members are disposed for each cell block and include terminal connectors electrically connected to terminals, having identical polarity, of the cells in each cell block, and the other terminals are connected with the terminal connectors through the connection intervening member.

Cell module

In a battery module, a plurality of unit batteries in which positive electrode terminals and negative electrode terminals are arranged at one-side ends are arranged in a staggered pattern while the one-side ends are arrayed on the same side, n pieces of battery blocks in which m pieces of the unit batteries adjacent to one another are connected in parallel to one another are connected in series to one another, two or more rows in which the unit batteries are arranged in a direction perpendicular to a series current direction are present on one battery block, the number of the unit batteries in each row is less than or equal to (m&#x2212;1), an electrically insulating plate is arranged above the one-side ends of the plurality of arrayed unit batteries, the plate is provided with holes from which the positive electrode terminals and the negative electrode terminals of the respective unit batteries are exposed, and is provided with a plurality of conductive members on a surface opposite to a surface facing the unit batteries, and the conductive members extend along the rows in which the unit batteries in the battery blocks are arrayed, two conductive members are arranged with respect to one battery block, and the conductive members are provided with terminal connecting portions connected through the holes to the same-polarity terminals of the respective unit batteries included in one battery block.

Battery module

A battery block includes assembled batteries that are arranged in parallel to each other, and the plurality of assembled batteries are each formed of a plurality of batteries as a unit. Each of the batteries has a positive-electrode terminal and a negative-electrode terminal on one end portion of the battery. The assembled battery includes: the plurality of batteries which are arranged in a row with one end portions of the batteries directed in the same direction; an insulation holder which is arranged on one end portion side of the batteries and holds the batteries; and a positive-electrode bus bar and a negative-electrode bus bar arranged on one end portions of the batteries. The positive-electrode bus bar and the negative-electrode bus bar are respectively held by holding portions which are formed on the insulation holder along a row direction and in parallel to each other.

Battery block and battery module provided with same

In a battery module including a plurality of battery blocks, the battery block is configured such that a plurality of assembled batteries each of which is formed of the plurality of batteries are arranged in parallel. The battery has a positive-electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal on one end portion of the battery. The assembled battery includes a positive electrode bus bar for connecting the plurality of batteries in parallel and a negative electrode bus bar for connecting the plurality of batteries in parallel, which are disposed on one end portions of the batteries. On a boundary portion between the battery blocks, the positive electrode bus bars of the respective assembled batteries of one battery block and the negative electrode bus bars of the respective assembled batteries of the other battery block are respectively connected to each other in series by an inter-block connecting bus bar.

A battery module includes a plurality of cylindrical batteries, a wiring board, a plurality of positive electrode-side current collector members, and a plurality of negative electrode-side current collector members. The wiring board is a wiring board having a multilayer structure in which wiring patterns are formed in a plurality of layers, and includes a positive electrode-side wiring pattern and a negative electrode-side wiring pattern. The respective wiring patterns are formed as different layers of the wiring board. Each positive electrode-side current collector member electrically connects a sealing body functioning as a positive electrode external terminal of each cylindrical battery and the positive electrode-side wiring pattern. Each negative electrode-side current collector member electrically connects a case body functioning as a negative electrode external terminal of each cylindrical battery and the negative electrode-side wiring pattern.
