A roller arm unit of the present invention has three or more pulleys by odd pieces. A door-opening cable and a door-closing cable extending from a power unit have tip ends fixed to a first and second end portions of a guide rail by way of the pulleys. The door-opening cable and the door-closing cable are intersected with each other between two neighboring pulleys. A path length of a take-up side cable becomes short and a path length of a pay-out side cable becomes long when the roller arm unit is caused to be swung due to influence of the curved portion.

A door opening/closing device includes, between a door operating lever and an open-door latch unit, a first connection link connected to the door operating lever and a third wire cable. One end of the third wire cable is connected to the first connection link and the other end is connected to the open-door latch unit to connect the first connection link and the open-door latch unit to each other.

A locking device for trunk lids comprises a latch for engaging with a striker, a ratchet for maintaining the engagement between the latch and the striker, an output member rotating by an electric motor against resilient force of a return spring, a moving bar provided between the ratchet and the output member so as to slide in a lateral direction, the moving bar having one end connected to the output member and the other end connected to a key cylinder, an engaging portion provided with the moving bar for engaging with the ratchet to release the ratchet from the latch when the moving bar laterally slides from an original position by the rotation of the output member or the key cylinder. The moving bar is restored to the original position by the resilient force of the return spring after the ratchet is disengaged from said latch.

A door lock apparatus with automatic door closing mechanism comprises a latch engaging with a striker secured to a vehicle body, an automatic door closing motor for over-rotating the latch at its half-latched position beyond its full-latched position while the motor rightly rotates, a switch adapated to turn to continuously ON when the latch is between the half-latched and full-latched positions and turn to OFF when the latch is at other position than between the half-latched and full-latched positions, and a controller for rightly rotating the motor when door closing operation turns the switch from its OFF condition to ON condition and reversely rotating motor when the switch turns from ON to OFF.

A door lock device with an automatic door closing mechanism comprises a lock body having a recess on its front surface side, a latch adapted to be engaged with a striker so as to be rotated from an open position to a full-latch position by way of a half-latch position, a ratchet adapted to be engaged with the latch so as to hold the engagement between the latch and the striker, an actuator adapted to be operated when the latch is rotated to the half-latch position, an output lever adapted to be rotated by power of the actuator, and a link lever adapted to be rotated by rotation of the output lever so as to move the latch from the half-latch position to the full-latch position. The latch, the ratchet and the link lever are stored in the recess of the lock body, and the output lever is provided on the rear surface side of the lock body.

A vehicle door lock assembly having a housing to be secured to a vehicular door structure. The housing has a dent extending along an about up-and-down direction, a striker secured to the vehicular body, a latch rotating from its open position to its fully locked position through its half-latched position, a ratchet preventing the latch from reverse-rotating, a motor functioning when the latch rotates to the half-latched condition, and a lever driven by a motor in order to engage with the latch positioned at the half-latched position so as to rotate the latch to its fully latched position. The lever, latch and ratchet are operative arranged in the dent of the housing along an up-and-down direction and secured to the housing wall by three parallel shafts.
