A position detection switch is provided with a case having a cylindrical part that has a plurality of ribs on an inner circumferential wall thereof along the axial direction thereof. Accordingly, the strength of the case is increased and running of a molten resin for fixing a substrate disposed on the inside are improved when the molten resin is injected from a long groove of the case. The contact surface area between the ribs and a sheath is increased whereby durability against an external force and temperature variation is increased.

Position detection switch and method for manufacturing same

A clamp device is provided with a detection section which detects the pivotal position of a clamp arm. The detection section has: a cam section which is provided on a pivot shaft, includes a predetermined cam surface, and is formed so that the radial distance from the center of the pivot shaft to the cam surface varies circumferentially; and a proximity sensor which detects the position of the cam surface which varies as the pivot shaft pivots.

Clamp device

A clamp device is equipped with a clamp body, a piston rod, a link mechanism, a detection mechanism for detecting a state of rotary motion of a clamp arm, and a determination unit for determining whether a state of clamping exists. The detection mechanism includes a first proximity sensor, and a knuckle joint having a first sloped surface. The determination unit, on the basis of a comparison of an output signal from the first proximity sensor to a clamp threshold value, determines whether a state of clamping exists, and on the basis of a comparison to a clamping force generation threshold value, determines whether a state of generation of clamping force exists.

Magnetism detecting sensor

A position detecting sensor is mounted in a sensor attachment groove formed in a cylinder device and having a wide portion and a narrow portion. Mounting members each include a mounting member main body positioned in the wide portion having a width dimension larger than a groove width of the narrow portion, and an extension extending from the mounting member main body and positioned in the narrow portion. The housing and the mounting members are connected by connecting bolts, whereby a portion of the cylinder device is retained between the housing and the mounting members.

Position detecting sensor of an actuator accomodated in a housing

A position detecting sensor is mounted in a sensor attachment groove of a cylinder device. The sensor attachment groove includes a wide portion on the side of a groove bottom surface, and a narrow portion on the side of a side surface of the cylinder device. The position detecting sensor includes a mounting member having a width dimension larger than a groove width of the narrow portion. The mounting member includes a first engagement part and a second engagement part, which are flexible and are arranged in confronting relation, opening with a gap mutually therebetween in a widthwise direction of the sensor attachment groove.

Mounting structure of a position detecting sensor

A position detecting sensor is mounted in a sensor attachment groove that opens on a side surface of an actuator and extends in an axial direction of the actuator. The position detecting sensor includes a housing that houses a sensor main body, and a guide member inserted into the sensor attachment groove. The guide member is of a shape such that, when the guide member is inserted into the sensor attachment groove, the guide member is required to be rotated in one direction around an axis parallel with the axis of the actuator and then rotated in a direction opposite to the one direction. After the guide member has been inserted into the sensor attachment groove, attachment thereof to the sensor attachment groove is completed by application of a fastener.

Position detecting sensor

A linear actuator includes a cylinder main body. With respect to the cylinder main body, a slide table is disposed for reciprocal displacement through a guide mechanism, which is disposed on the cylinder main body. A stopper mechanism having a stopper bolt is disposed on one end of the slide table centrally in a widthwise direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slide table. In addition, when the slide table is displaced along the cylinder main body, an end of the stopper bolt comes into abutment with an end of a cover of the guide mechanism, whereupon the slide table becomes engaged therewith and movement of the slide table is stopped.

Linear actuator

The present invention relates to a linear actuator. A slide table of the linear actuator includes a table main body and an end plate connected to another end of the table main body. On a base portion of the table main body, four workpiece retaining holes are formed, and fitting seats are disposed respectively about the workpiece retaining holes on radial outer sides thereof. The fitting seats are formed at the same time that the table main body is formed by press molding.

A linear actuator includes a guide block constituting a guide mechanism. In the guide block, a pair of installation grooves are formed in a lower surface facing toward a cylinder main body. Ball circulation members having therein ball circulation holes are installed respectively in the installation grooves. Additionally, ball circulation passages through which balls circulate are provided. The ball circulation passages are made up from roll-reversing sections disposed on opposite ends of the ball circulation members, the ball circulation holes, second ball guide grooves formed in both side surfaces of the guide block, and first ball guide grooves of the slide table.

Fluid pressure cylinder with table

Cylinder mechanisms are provided for driving three jaw members each of which includes a cylinder hole having a long circular cross section, a piston which slides in the cylinder hole and has a long circular cross section, and a piston rod extending from the piston. The cylinder mechanisms are disposed at a position in the chuck body which is adjacent to corresponding jaw member in a state in which an axis of the cylinder hole in a direction parallel to a moving direction of the jaw member and a shorter diameter of the cylinder hole is directed in an axial direction of the chuck body.
