A link balance adjustment method includes the following steps. A connection port initiates a balance adjustment process through an interrupt signal. A microprocessor provides an adjustment parameter for an external device from a register and transmits the adjustment parameter to the connection port. A measurement signal is initiated by the microprocessor, and the measurement signal enables the connection port to measure the signal quality after the adjustment parameter has been applied by the external device. The microprocessor determines whether the connection port needs to perform a preprocessing. When the microprocessor determines that the connection port needs to perform a preprocessing, the connection port performs the preprocessing and generates preprocessing data. The connection port transmits the preprocessing data to the register. The microprocessor reads the preprocessing data or the signal quality in the register.

Link balance adjustment system and link balance adjustment method

A booting technology for a multi-die and multi-core computing platform is shown. A storage device stores numberfirmware code and numberfirmware code. A master die is coupled to the storage device through a bus and accesses the numberfirmware code from the storage device through the bus. A first slave die is also coupled to the storage device through the bus. However, instead of accessing the storage device for the numberfirmware code, the first slave die monitors the bus and retrieves the numberfirmware code, accessed by the master die, from the bus. The master die further accesses the numberfirmware code from the storage device through the bus. The master die executes the numberfirmware code to operate the master die and the first slave die to boot the system and start up the platform.

Multi-die and multi-core computing platform and booting method for the same

A multi-die and multi-core computing platform in which multiple dies share the same storage device for firmware code storage is shown. After a slave die loads #1 firmware code from the storage device through a bus, the right to use the bus is released by the slave die and the slave die outputs a #0 enable signal to a master die. According to the #0 enable signal, the master die gains the right to use the bus. Through the bus, the master die loads #0 firmware code from the storage device. The slave die executes the #1 firmware code and the master die executes the #0 firmware code to initialize a link between the master and slave dies.

Systems and methods for operating a vehicle automatically in real time may be provided. The system may receive and process real time sensor data from a sensing system via an arithmetic and control unit (ACU). The system may obtain, via the ACU, one or more tasks during the processing of the real time sensor data. The system may classify, via the ACU, the one or more tasks into real time vehicle controlling (VC) tasks and non real time VC tasks. The system may further send the real time VC tasks to at least one dedicated processing core of the ACU for processing the real time VC tasks and generating one or more real time VC commands accordingly.
