The processor is configured to receive, from the terminal through the communication interface, a video of a home appliance, acquire a first feature vector by inputting image data extracted from the video to an image classification model, acquire a second feature vector by inputting sound data extracted from the video to a voice classification model, acquire a result value by inputting a data set obtained by combining the first feature vector and the second feature vector to an abnormality classification model, and transmit, to the terminal through the communication interface, a failure type acquired based on the result value.

Disclosed are an Intelligent electronic device and authentication method using message sent to intelligent electronic device. The method of authenticating using a message transmitted to the intelligent electronic device comprises the steps of: receiving a first message from a first external device; learning the received first message and extracting characteristics on a user of the first external device based on the learned first message; generating a template for the user of the first external device modeled based on the extracted characteristics on the user of the first external device; receiving a second message from a second external device; determining whether a unique identifier of the first external device is the same as a unique identifier of the second external device; and comparing the second message with the template to determine whether the user of the first external device is the same person as the user of the second external device, when the unique identifier of the first external device is the same as the unique identifier of the second external device. Accordingly, the fraud of impersonating another person can be prevented. The method of authenticating using a message transmitted to the intelligent electronic device of the present disclosure may be associated with an artificial intelligence module, a drone, a robot, an augmented reality device, a virtual reality device, a device related to a 5G service, and the like.

Disclosed is a method for detecting toxic metal ions in a sample. The method includes: a) preparing a solution of organic acid-bound gold nanoparticles; b) adding a sample containing toxic metal ions to the solution prepared in a) to allow the gold nanoparticles to aggregate; c) dropping the reaction solution obtained in b) onto a silicon substrate and drying the reaction solution such that the gold nanoparticle aggregates are immobilized on the silicon substrate; and d) analyzing the characteristics of the gold nanoparticles immobilized on the silicon substrate. The method enables the detection of even a trace amount of toxic metal ions in a sample with high sensitivity. Therefore, the method can be applied to the management of water quality in food service providers and hospitals, the measurement of contaminants in water supply and drainage systems, and the management of industrial wastewater. Furthermore, the method is expected to be widely applicable to water purifiers and the food and beverage industry in the future.

Provided is a nanoporous cantilever including a substrate in a shape of a plate, a tip formed at a front end of the substrate, and a nanoporous structure formed on the tip. Due to the nanoporous structure including nanopores and nanochannels formed on the tip, the nanoporous cantilever greatly increases in detection sensitivity for a material to be detected when compared to a cantilever according to a related art, and may obtain a surface-enhanced Raman signal and thus achieve discrimination of a molecule to be detected.
