According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

The battery includes: a battery cell, the battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being disposed on a first wall of the battery cell; a first surface of the thermal management component being attached to the first wall; and a support, the support being arranged opposite to the pressure relief mechanism, the support being configured to support the pressure relief mechanism when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so that the pressure relief mechanism is opened at a predetermined angle, therefore emissions from the battery cell can be discharged toward the thermal management component. The technical solutions of embodiments of the present application can enhance safety of batteries.

The box includes: a first component, including a first interface; a second component, configured to connect with the first component to form a chamber, the second component including a second interface, the second interface being configured to be arranged opposite to the first interface; a first locking mechanism, configured to lock the first component and the second component, so that the first interface and the second interface are sealed and connected; the first locking mechanism is configured to be actuated when an internal pressure of a chamber exceeds a preset value, so that the first interface and the second interface break away from a sealed state to relieve the internal pressure of the chamber. The battery includes: a battery cell, the battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism configured to be capable of being actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure; an attachment component adapted to be attached to the battery cell by an adhesive; and an isolation component configured to be capable of preventing the adhesive from being applied between the attachment component and the pressure relief mechanism. By providing the isolation component, it is possible to prevent the adhesive from being applied between the attachment component and the pressure relief mechanism in an effective manner in a process of battery production. Meanwhile, application efficiency and accuracy of the adhesive could be improved, thereby improving production efficiency of the battery.
