A micro-channel reaction apparatus includes a first mixing device and a first jetting device. The first mixing device includes a first inflow channel and a second inflow channel respectively used to direct a first fluid and a second fluid into the micro-channel reaction apparatus. The first jetting device includes a first tapering portion and a first flared portion, wherein one end of the first tapering portion is connected to the first inflow channel and the second inflow channel; another end of the first tapering portion is connected to the first flared portion; and the first tapering portion has a contract ratio of inner diameter ranging from 0.1 to 0.75.

Micro-channel reaction apparatus

Method for purifying a crude of 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (cFDCA) by crystallization is provided. The method includes (a) mixing the cFDCA and a solvent to form a mixture, wherein the solvent has a dipole moment of 3.7D (Debye) to 4.1D; (b) heating the mixture; (c) after step (b), cooling the mixture to precipitate a solid; and (d1) after step (c), filtering the mixture to collect a wet filter cake of the solid, and drying the wet filter cake to obtain purified FDCA. The purified FDCA has a higher FDCA purity than that of the cFDCA.

In one embodiment of the disclosure, a composite material with conductive and ferromagnetic properties is provided. The composite material includes: 5 to 90 parts by weight of a conductive polymer matrix; and 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of iron oxide nanorods, wherein the iron oxide nanorods are ferromagnetic and have a length-to-diameter ratio of larger than 3. In another embodiment, a hybrid slurry is provided. The hybrid slurry includes a conductive polymer, and iron oxide nanorods, wherein the iron oxide nanorods are ferromagnetic and have a length-to-diameter ratio of larger than 3; and a solvent.

A method for preparing a phenol-formaldehyde resin is provided. The method includes extracting a biomass pyrolysis oil to obtain a first phenolic mixture, mixing the first phenolic mixture, furfural and an alkaline catalyst to proceed to a first polymerization reaction to form a phenol-formaldehyde resin precursor solution, and adding the alkaline catalyst to the phenol-formaldehyde resin precursor solution to proceed to a second polymerization reaction to form a phenol-formaldehyde resin solution. The disclosure also provides a resin material prepared from the phenol-formaldehyde resin. The disclosure further provides a method for preparing a resin molding material.

A method of preparing furfural compounds and a mixture for preparing the same are disclosed. First, a solution is prepared by mixing an organic ammonium salt and a hydroxyl organic solvent. Then, a carbohydrate is mixed with the solution to form a mixture. The mixture is heated to a reaction temperature for conversion of the carbohydrate to produce the furfural compounds.

A composition suitable for use as a starting material for preparing a high molecular weight polyester through melt polymerization and solid state polymerization is disclosed. The composition comprises (a) a dicarboxylic acid or diester; (b) a glycol; (c) 0.1-5 mol %, relative to said component (a), of a multifunctional acid and/or a multifunctional alcohol; and (d) 0.05-5 wt %, based on the weight of the polyester, of a hindered phenolic aromatic phosphate. A process for preparing a high molecular weight polyester utilizing the above composition is also disclosed.
