A projection autostereoscopic display including an image projector and a stereo screen is provided. The image projector projects an image. The image includes multiple viewing-zone images. The stereo screen receives the image and reflects the image to an observing direction. The stereo screen includes a linear polarizer layer, for receiving and polarizing the image. A first microretarder layer is disposed behind the linear polarizer layer. A second microretarder layer is disposed behind the first microretarder layer by a distance. A reflection-type polarization-reserved diffuser layer is disposed behind the second microretarder layer for reflecting and diffusing the image into various directions while maintaining the polarization state of the image. A switching layer is switched between a transparent state which maintains the polarization state of the image and an opaque state which changes the polarization states of the image to a non-polarization state, to switch between 2D and 3D display modes.

Projection autostereoscopic display and stereo screen

A nozzle plate suited for a droplet generator is provided. The nozzle plate includes a nozzle layer and at least one filler. The nozzle layer has a nozzle and at least one trench. The nozzle passes through the nozzle layer. The trenches apart from the nozzle are formed on a surface of the nozzle layer around the nozzle. The filler is filled in the trench. The wetting angle of the surface of the filler is different from the wetting angle of the surface of the nozzle layer. The nozzle plate has higher surface wear resistance and lower probability of jamming at the nozzle.

Nozzle plate

A loop type heat dissipating apparatus with a sprayer for transferring heat between a heat source and a heat sink includes an evaporator, a condenser, and a working fluid. The evaporator contacts the heat source and includes a first chamber, a second chamber, and a sprayer disposed between therebetween. The condenser contacts the heat sink and includes a third chamber communicating with the second chamber and a wick structure disposed on one side of the third chamber. The working fluid fills the loop type heat dissipating apparatus and is turned into microdroplets via a sprayer. The sprayer impinges the microdroplets into the second chamber where the microdroplets are then evaporated by the heat source before proceeding to the third chamber for condensation, liquefaction and adhering to the wick structure. Eventually, the working fluid flows back to the first chamber under a pumping force actuated by the sprayer and completes the cycle.

Loop type heat dissipating apparatus with sprayer

A micro-spray cooling system for a plurality of heat sources includes an evaporator contacting the heat sources and comprising a plurality of actuators corresponding to the heat sources, a condenser connected to the evaporator, and at least one driving circuit connected to the actuators to drive some or all of the actuators sequentially according to a predetermined timing to cool the heat sources. The refrigerant in the evaporator is sprayed by the actuators to thermally contact the heat sources, evaporated by heat from the heat sources, condensed in the condenser and re-enters the evaporator.

Micro-spray cooling system

A micro device and manufacturing method thereof. The micro device includes a substrate, an insulation layer, and a solution. The insulation layer is disposed on the substrate to define a channel portion and an extension portion communicated with the channel portion. The solution is location in the channel portion. Part of the solution flows to the extension portion by capillary force between the channel portion and the extension portion.

Micro device and manufacturing method thereof

A droplet ejecting head includes a first substrate, a nozzle plate, a second substrate, an annular symmetrically channel plate and an actuator device. The nozzle plate with a nozzle is disposed on a first surface of the first substrate. The second substrate with a liquid inlet is disposed over the first substrate. The annular symmetrically channel plate with a fluid channel is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate so that a pressure chamber is formed between the second substrate and the annular symmetrically channel plate. The liquid to be ejected flows to the fluid channel from the liquid inlet and overflows to the pressure chamber from the fluid channel. The actuator device is disposed on the second substrate. The second substrate is deformed by the actuator device for changing volume of the pressure chamber, and then the liquid in the pressure chamber is ejected via the nozzle.

Droplet ejecting head

A micro fluidic module having at least a micro fluid channel barrier comprises at least an actuator, a firing chamber, a plurality of convergent fluid outlet channel and a plurality of convergent fluid inlet channel. The actuator (e.g. a heater) boils the working fluid and generates thermal bubble and instant high pressure to eject the working fluid outside and expel the working fluid through the fluid outlet channel. Then, the working fluid refills from the fluid inlet channel. Therefore, the working fluid flows consistently through the firing chamber. The working fluid flowing through adjacent firing chambers are arranged in different or consistent directions. Therefore, the refilling speed of the working fluid is increased, and the operating frequency of the module is improved.

Micro fluidic module

A porous back-shooting inkjet print head module is disclosed. The ink permeates through the porous ink supply layer into an ink chamber in contact with the outside by an injection hole, and the porous ink supply layer prevents the ink from flowing back. Therefore, the ink chamber is sealed very well and more pressure could be generated. The invention can thus be used for inks with high viscosities. It does not need a precision alignment process as in the prior art. This does not only increase the efficiency and yield of production, but also reduces the cost.
