A testing apparatus is configured to perform a charge and discharge test on a first energy storage and charging device having a first charging interface and a second energy storage and charging device having a second charging interface. The testing apparatus includes a connecting unit configured to connect power interfaces in the first charging interface and the second charging interface, so as to electrically connect the first energy storage and charging device and the second energy storage and charging device; and a test control unit configured to connect to signal interfaces in the first charging interface and the second charging interface to separately communicate with the first energy storage and charging device and the second energy storage and charging device, so as to control the first energy storage and charging device and the second energy storage and charging device for the charge and discharge test.

A cover assembly includes a cover plate including a gas vent, a gas exhaust valve configured to seal the gas vent and deform in response to an increase in temperature to get out of a state of sealing the gas vent, and a sealing part. The gas exhaust valve includes a metal sheet and a fixing part. The metal sheet seals the gas vent. The sealing part is arranged between the metal sheet and the cover plate for sealing a gap between the metal sheet and the cover plate. The fixing part is connected to the metal sheet. This application relates to a cover assembly of a secondary battery. The cover assembly includes a cover plate with an air hole; a blocker inserted into and blocking the air hole; a sealing member disposed between the blocker and the cover plate configured to seal a gap between the blocker and the cover plate; and a fastener disposed inside the air hole. The fastener is connected to the cover plate, the blocker is connected to the cover plate through the fastener. The fastener is configured to deform in response to a temperature rise, so that the blocker stops blocking the air hole. The blocker stops blocking the air hole as a temperature inside a housing rises, to discharge gas from the housing through the air hole. In this way, the secondary battery can be prevented from an explosion, while partial heat is taken away through gas discharge.

An embodiment of the present application provides a battery cell, a battery, a power consumption device, and a manufacturing device and method for a battery cell. The battery cell includes a housing, an electrode assembly, an end cover assembly and a current collecting member. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing, and the electrode assembly includes a tab. The end cover assembly includes an end cover, an electrode terminal and an insulating member, the end cover is used to cover at an opening of the housing, the electrode terminal is mounted to the end cover, and the insulating member is located on one side of the end cover facing the electrode assembly. The current collecting member is used to connect the electrode terminal and the tab. This structure can make more space for the electrode assembly and can effectively increase the capacity of the battery cell.

The cover assembly includes: a cover plate including a gas vent; a gas exhaust valve configured to seal the gas vent and deform in response to an increase in temperature to get out of a state of sealing the gas vent; and a sealing part arranged between the gas exhaust valve and the cover plate and surrounding the gas vent for sealing a gap between the gas exhaust valve and the cover plate.

The present application relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling a temperature of a battery pack, a battery management system, and a storage medium. The method for controlling a temperature of a battery pack includes: detecting a SOC of the battery pack; determining a SOC interval in which the SOC is located from a plurality of preset SOC intervals; determining a target temperature threshold corresponding to the SOC interval under a condition that a preset battery pack life requirement is met, based on a mapping relationship between preset SOC intervals, target temperature thresholds and battery pack life; and performing thermal management on the battery pack based on the target temperature threshold; where the performing thermal management on the battery pack based on the target temperature threshold comprises cooling the battery pack based on the target temperature threshold.
