A method and apparatus for preheating a bulb tube of medical equipment is provided. The method includes: selecting a scanning condition which satisfies an equipment calibration condition, as a preheating condition for the bulb tube, from scanning conditions used by the medical equipment; selecting a new preheating condition if an accumulated thermal capacity according to selected preheating conditions is smaller than a target thermal capacity, until the accumulated thermal capacity reaches the target thermal capacity, wherein the accumulated thermal capacity indicates a sum of a thermal capacity estimated to be generated when the bulb tube is preheated according to the selected preheating conditions, and the target thermal capacity indicates a thermal capacity required to complete the preheating of the bulb tube; preheating the bulb tube according to selected preheating conditions and executing an equipment calibration corresponding to each of the preheating conditions during the bulb tube preheating.

A method for controlling scanning preparation includes: obtaining a first scanning protocol of a current CT examination, controlling a CT scanner to perform a scanning preparation for a first scanning series according to the first scanning protocol; in case that there are one or more subsequent scanning series, controlling CT scanner to perform scanning preparations for the subsequent scanning series according to the first scanning protocol, where for each subsequent scanning series, the scanning preparation is performed during time interval between end of exposure of scanning series previous to the subsequent scanning series and starting of the subsequent scanning series; and obtaining a second scanning protocol of next CT examination and controlling the CT scanner to perform a scanning preparation for a first scanning series according to the second scanning protocol.

The posture detection method includes: obtaining skeleton data of a target person; analyzing the skeleton data to obtain actual posture information of the target person; and recording the actual posture information of the target person. The accuracy of determining the posture information by obtaining the skeleton data of a body is quite high. Besides, the actual posture information is recorded automatically, so that a doctor does not need to record the posture information manually. Therefore, scanning missing or wrong scanning direction caused by inconformity between the real posture of the patient and the recorded posture information may be avoided, which ensures the reliability of medical diagnosis.

A system and a method for implementing warm-up scanning in a CT device are provided. The method includes: closing a slot of a beam limiter before a warm-up scanning process is initiated; implementing the warm-up scanning process to a CT radiation source; and opening the slot of the beam limiter after the warm-up scanning process is finished. The target object may not need to move during the warm-up scanning process. Therefore, a second time scout image scanning is no longer necessary and extra ionization radiation may be avoided.

System and method for implementing warm-up scanning in CT device

A method of CT beam hardening calibration comprises: the step of obtaining raw data of a first phantom and a second phantom by scanning the first phantom and the second phantom respectively; the step of calculating a first filter material length and a second filter material length according to one ore more spectrum function and the raw data of the first phantom as well as the second phantom; the step of adjusting said spectrum function to make the first filter material length and the second filter material length agree with predefined conditions; the step of calculating a beam hardening curve according to the adjusted spectrum function and the first filter material length as well as the second filter material length met with the predefined conditions; and the step of processing the raw data by the calculated beam hardening curve to eliminate beam hardening effects. After calibrating raw data by using the adjusted spectrum curve, image results showed that artifacts such as shading dark artifacts and rings artifacts were significantly reduced.
