The present disclosure relates to a communication technique that merges IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates than 4G systems, and a system therefor. The present disclosure discloses a method for improving the reliability of a control channel in a wireless communication system. Specifically, a method for a base station in a wireless communication system is characterized in that: control channel configuration information including a plurality of pieces of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) information is transmitted to a terminal; downlink control information for scheduling downlink data is transmitted to the terminal on a plurality of downlink control channels according to a plurality of TCIs; and the downlink data is transmitted to the terminal.
