A display device includes a display module, a flexible circuit film, and a cover film. The display module is divided into a first area including pixels, a second area bent with respect to an imaginary axis extending in a first direction, and a third area, on which a driving chip connected to the pixels is disposed. The flexible circuit film is disposed at at least a portion of the third area of the display module and connected to the display module. The cover film covers the second area of the display module, at least a portion of the flexible circuit film, and an entirety of the driving chip.

Display device and method for fabricating electronic device by using the same

An electronic apparatus includes a window that includes a substantially planar base and an edge portion that protrudes from an edge of the base, a display panel disposed on the base of the window, and a flexible printed circuit board disposed on and electrically connected to the display panel. The flexible printed circuit board includes a neck portion in contact with the display panel, a body portion connected to the neck portion and that has an area greater than that of the neck portion, and a first slit formed in the body portion.

Electronic apparatus

A display device is capable of substantially reducing or preventing warping or deformation thereof by using a bimetallic effect. The display device includes a backlight unit including at least one light source; a light source circuit board at which the light source is disposed; a first heat dissipation plate configured to receive heat generated from the light source through the light source circuit board, and to discharge the heat; a bottom case configured to accommodate the light source, the light source circuit board, and the first heat dissipation plate; and a second heat dissipation plate configured to resist a deformation force that is applied to the first heat dissipation plate or the bottom case, the second heat dissipation plate has a thermal expansion coefficient different from a thermal expansion coefficient of the first heat dissipation plate.

Display device

A display apparatus includes a display panel bendable in a bending direction about a bending axis, pad units disposed on one side of the display panel and arranged in the bendable direction, printed circuit boards disposed below the display panel, and flexible printed circuit boards configured to connect the display panel to the printed circuit boards. The printed circuit boards are bendable in the bending direction about the bending axis, are arranged in the bendable direction, and extend in the bendable direction. Each of the flexible printed circuit boards has a first end connected to the display panel and a second end connected to one of the printed circuit boards. A second distance between the second ends of two of the flexible printed circuit boards respectively connected to two adjacent printed circuit boards is greater than a first distance between the first ends of the two flexible printed circuit boards.

Display apparatus and method for manufacturing the same

A display apparatus includes a display panel arranged substantially along a second direction. The display panel is curved in a first direction with a first degree of curvature. The second direction crosses the first direction. A first accommodating member receives the display panel. A plurality of flexible circuit boards is connected to one side portion of the display panel. A printed circuit board is connected to the flexible circuit boards. A beading portion is disposed on a lower portion of the first accommodating member. The printed circuit board is disposed on a lower portion of the beading portion. A lower surface of the beading portion includes a curved surface that is curved in the first direction with a second degree of curvature that is smaller than the first degree of curvature.
