A turbocharger includes an actuator housing in which an actuator that drives a movable member is disposed, a compressor housing disposed adjacent to the actuator housing, and a through hole formed in the actuator housing in an area closer to the compressor housing and extending in a vertically downward direction when the actuator housing is mounted.

A link mechanism includes: a first link portion including a first hole; a second link portion including a second hole; a rotary shaft of a rotating body attached to the first or second link portion; a spring arranged between the first link portion and the second link portion; and a connecting pin including: a larger-diameter portion located on the first link portion at a side opposite to the second link portion and the spring and having an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of the first hole and an inner diameter of the second hole; a medium-diameter portion having an outer diameter smaller than that of the larger-diameter portion and at least partially located within the first hole; and a smaller-diameter portion having an outer diameter smaller than that of the medium-diameter portion and at least partially located within the second hole.

Link mechanism

A valve device includes: a mounting plate including a rotary shaft; an insertion hole formed in the mounting plate; a valve including a shaft portion inserted into the insertion hole; a larger-diameter portion of the shaft portion, at least a part of the larger-diameter portion being located within the insertion hole; a smaller-diameter portion of the shaft portion, a diameter of the smaller-diameter portion being smaller than that of the larger-diameter portion; a stepped surface formed between the larger-diameter portion and the smaller-diameter portion on the shaft portion; and a position regulating portion provided on the smaller-diameter portion, the position regulating portion being attached on the smaller-diameter portion at a position spaced apart from the stepped surface in a central axis direction of the shaft portion.

Valve device and method for manufacturing the same

A variable flow rate valve mechanism includes a valve, a lock member, a valve attachment member and a spring washer. The valve includes a valve body and a valve shaft. The lock member is fixed to the valve shaft. The valve attachment member is attached to the valve shaft. The spring washer is disposed adjacent the valve attachment member. The spring washer is formed into an annular shape around an axis of the spring washer. The spring washer includes a support portion, a deformable portion and a protrusion portion. The support portion includes a seat surface and an open surface. The deformable portion is connected to the support portion and extends in an inclined manner. The deformable portion includes a contact surface and an opposite surface. The protrusion portion protrudes from at least one of the open surface of the support portion and the opposite surface of the deformable portion.

Spring washer for a variable flow rate valve mechanism

A clearance &#x3b4; between an inner peripheral surface of an attachment hole of an attachment tongue and an outer peripheral surface of a valve shaft is set to be smaller than an allowable displacement amount &#x3bb; in an axial direction of a valve with respect to the attachment tongue. When a condition is satisfied in which the outer peripheral surface of the valve shaft comes into contact with a front-side periphery and a back-side periphery of the attachment hole of the attachment tongue, and in which a top surface of a valve body comes into contact with a back surface of the attachment tongue, a waste gate valve is constituted so that a metal washer becomes non-contact with a front surface of the attachment tongue.

Variable-flow-rate valve mechanism and turbocharger

A centrifugal compressor includes an impeller which includes a front surface, a back surface, and a side surface; a first wall portion which includes a first wall surface facing the front surface and forming a flow passage; a second wall portion which includes a second wall surface facing the back surface and the first wall surface; and a protruding wall portion which is provided at an outside in a radial direction in relation to the side surface of the impeller. The protruding wall portion includes a third wall surface extending from the second wall surface in the axial direction and facing the side surface of the impeller. The third wall surface further extends toward the first wall surface in the axial direction from a connection portion between the front surface and the side surface. The third wall surface and the side surface form a second gap therebetween.

Centrifugal compressor

A turbocharger includes: an annular diffuser flow passage formed by two opposed surfaces of a compressor housing and a bearing housing; and a seal plate located inside of the diffuser flow passage in a radial direction, and disposed to be opposed to a back surface of a compressor wheel. A gap in the radial direction is formed between a radially inside end of the opposed surface of the bearing housing that forms the diffuser flow passage and an outer peripheral edge of the compressor wheel. The seal plate has a larger diameter than that of the compressor wheel. A protrusion, which extends more to the compressor housing side than does a region opposed to a back surface of the compressor wheel, is provided in a region of the seal plate facing the gap.
