It is described a method for allocating a transmission mode to a user equipment for a radio transmission within a cellular network between the user equipment and a base station, wherein the user equipment is adapted to communicate with the base station in the allocated transmission mode via a communication channel. The method includes determining, by the base station, an information being indicative for a quality of the communication channel, receiving, by the base station, a feedback information from the user equipment being indicative for the quality of the communication channel, determining a compensation value based on the information and the feedback information, wherein the compensation value is adapted for compensating a difference between the information and the feedback information, determining an adapted transmission mode for the user equipment based on the compensation value, and allocating the adapted transmission mode to the user equipment.

Method for allocating a transmission mode to a user equipment and apparatus thereof

There is provided a mechanism for conducting a communication between at least one communication network control element such as an eNB and at least one communication element such as a UE wherein a DM RS based communication mode is used. DMRS (scrambling) sequences are generated wherein each DMRS sequence includes a set of calculation parameters being specific for the respective DMRS sequence, wherein the set of calculation parameters is configurable by the eNB during communication. For initializing each of the at least one scrambling sequence before receiving the configuration information, i.e. in an initial phase of the communication, a predetermined default value based on e.g. an UE_ID and being selectable from a set of predetermined default values is used for the set of calculation parameters in each DMRS sequence.

Communication mechanism using demodulation reference signal based communication mode

The present invention provides a cooperative multi-cell transmission method that can be utilized to implement cooperative transmission in a virtual cell. Sectors composing the virtual cell are real cells and/or full sectors in real cells, any sector among the sectors composing the virtual cell is physically located adjacent to at least one of the other sectors, and each sector of the virtual cell corresponds to a real transmitting node respectively. The method includes: acquiring channel state information between any user and at least one of real transmitting nodes by a main information processing node; performing user scheduling and real transmitting node scheduling based on the channel state information by the main information processing node; and cooperatively transmitting data of one or more scheduled users based on the channel state information by one or more scheduled real transmitting nodes. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention reduces the interference and enhances the system spectral efficiency.

Cooperative multi-cell transmission method

A communication device for sending transmission signals for one or more mobile stations from multiple transmitting antennas is disclosed. The communication device includes a scheduling unit configured to allocate one or more frequency resource blocks each having a predetermined bandwidth and including one or more subcarriers preferentially to each selected one of the mobile stations that is in a good channel condition; one or more delay setting units provided between the scheduling unit and the transmitting antennas and configured to set delay values for one or more signal paths leading to the transmitting antennas; and a delay value updating unit configured to repeatedly update the delay values to be set by the delay setting units.

A method of data processing includes the steps of: dividing user terminals into groups based on channel attributes and service requirements of the user terminals and setting a precoding code word and a cyclic delay for each of the groups; and determining which group a user terminal corresponding to the data to be processed belongs to and processing the data to be processed by the Cyclic Delay Diversity (CDD) precoding based on the precoding code word and the cyclic delay of the group. A data processing apparatus includes a grouping module and a CDD preceding module. By the method and apparatus above, the signal quality in the MIMO system can be improved.

Method and apparatus of data processing in MIMO system

A cellular network that is based on relay station and a space division duplex communication method are disclosed. The cellular network based on RS includes a base station, a RS and a UE, wherein the base station has at least one antenna and the RS has at least two antennas. The base station allocates resources for the UE, transmits a downlink signal in a current slot and receives an uplink signal from the UE through the RS in a next slot; the RS receives the downlink signal from the base station and the uplink signal from the UE in the current slot and transmits the received downlink signal to the UE and the uplink signal to the base station in the next slot; the UE transmits the uplink signal in the current slot and receives the downlink signal through the RS in the next slot, wherein the uplink signal and the downlink signal transmitted in the same slot are orthogonal. With the cellular network and the communication method of embodiments of the present invention, the use efficiency of each channel can be improved effectively and the system complexity can be reduced.

Cellular network based on relay station and space division duplex communication method

A pre-coding method for a MIMO system and an apparatus using the same are described. In the method, a receiver determines a corresponding codebook from a multi-codebook including multiple codebooks according to a location of a resource block, selects a corresponding codeword index from the determined codebook and transmits the index to a transmitter; the transmitter determines the corresponding codebook from the multi-codebook including multiple codebooks according to the location of the resource block where transmission data is to be transmitted, selects a corresponding codeword from the determined codebook according to the codeword index and performs pre-coding for the transmission data with the selected codeword. The pre-coding is performed with the multi-codebook in the present invention, which increases a diversity of pre-coding matrixes, so dynamic fluctuation range of a equivalent channel is improved and thus the performance of multi-user scheduling is enhanced effectively.
