Provided is a sensor device, comprising: a portion of graphene and/or graphene oxide in electronic communication with a gold source electrode, a drain electrode, a gate electrode, or any combination thereof; and an aptamer in electrical communication with the portion of graphene and/or graphene oxide, the portion of graphene and/or graphene oxide connected to said aptamer via at least one linker that comprises 4-carboxybenzenediazonium tetrafluoroborate.

Multiplexed detection of toxins using graphene-based aptasensors

Provided are devices and methods for a rapid, non-perturbative and energy-efficient technique for pH sensing based on a flexible graphene electrode. This technique does not require the application of gate voltage or source-drain bias, and demonstrates fast pH-characterization with precision. The disclosed technology is suitable for in vivo monitoring of tumor-induced pH variation in tissues and detection of pH changes as required in a DNA sequencing system.

PH sensing technique based on graphene electrodes

Provided are devices and methods for detecting a target molecule, based on using a graphene electrode. The devices exhibit high sensitivity to target molecules such as DNA that may be present at comparatively low concentrations.

Scalable back-gated functionalized graphene field effect transistors for detection of DNA and other target molecules

Provided are aptamer-functionalized graphene sensors, capable of detecting various analytes, including toxins, at comparatively low concentrations. Also provided are methods of fabricating and using such aptamer-functionalized graphene sensors.
