An end surface of the first light guide portion is the light exit surface. The second light guide portion includes at least two light guide bars each including a bending portion and an extending portion. A surface of the extending portion is a light incident sub-surface. The light-emitting surface of each element faces at least one light incident sub-surface. Second light guide portions of the at least two layers are arranged in a second direction perpendicular to a thickness direction of the first light guide portion.

Edge-lit light source, backlight module and display devices

A display module and a display device are provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure. The display module includes a display panel, the display panel includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, at least one of the first surface and the second surface is a display surface, and the display module further includes an optical modulation structure arranged on at least one of the first surface and the second surface of the display panel. The optical modulation structure includes: a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate arranged opposite to each other, a charged particle arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate, and a first transparent electrode structure arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate and configured to form an electric field for driving the charged particle to move.

Display module and display device

A light guiding structure, a light source module and a display module are disclosed. The light guiding structure includes a light guiding body and at least one light guiding cavity disposed in the light guiding body. The light guiding body includes a light incident surface and a light exit surface which are disposed opposite to each other. Each light guiding cavity includes a first end close to the light incident surface of the light guiding body and a second end away from the light incident surface of the light guiding body, and the light guiding cavity extends from the first end to the second end.

Light guiding structure, light source module and display module

An edge-lit light source includes one or at least two light guide layers arranged in a stack and one or more light-emitting elements. Of one or more light guide layers of the one or at least two light guide layers, side surfaces of each light guide layer includes a light incident surface and a light exit surface, and the light guide layer includes a bending region located between the light incident surface and the light exit surface. A light-emitting surface of each light-emitting element faces a light incident surface of at least one light guide layer of the one or more light guide layers.

A light guide assembly includes a light guide plate and a light guide strip around the periphery of the light guide plate, where a plurality of light-transmitting holes are formed on one side of the light guide strip facing to the light guide plate, and at least one end of the light guide strip is an light incident side. The light is incident to the inside of the light guide strip from the light incident side, and then is incident into the light guide plate from the light-transmitting holes on the side of the light guide strip, and thus becomes a surface light source.

A plastic frame component includes: a first frame strip, configured to match with a side edge of the display component to support the display device; a light source, disposed on the first frame strip and configured to emit light; and an optical path adjuster, disposed on the first frame strip. A transfer substrate for transferring an array of a plurality of micro light emitting diodes (micro LEDs) onto a target substrate. The transfer substrate includes a base substrate and an array of a plurality of electroactive actuators. A respective one of the plurality of electroactive actuators includes a ring-shaped frame structure substantially surrounding a central opening, the ring-shaped frame structure made of an electroactive material. The ring-shaped frame structure is configured to undergo a reversible deformation between a first state and a second state upon a change in an electric field applied on the ring-shaped frame structure. A distance between two positions on an inner wall of the ring-shaped frame structure and across the central opening having a first value in the first state and a second value in the second state. The first value is greater than the second value.

Transfer substrate, method of fabricating micro light emitting diode display substrate, and micro light emitting diode display substrate

A back light unit and a display device are proposed. The back light unit includes a light guide plate and multiple light emitting diodes, wherein the multiple light emitting diodes are disposed on a light entrance surface of a side end of the light guide plate, the light entrance surface of the light guide plate is disposed with at least one groove, and the at least one groove is disposed between at least part of adjacent light emitting diodes.

The disclosure discloses a display device and a smart watch. The display device includes a display panel, a backlight module and a center rotating shaft; the backlight module includes a light guide plate, an optical film, and a back plate; the backlight module has a first channel extending through the back plate, the light guide plate and the optical film sequentially to allow the center rotating shaft to pass through the backlight module; the display panel has a second channel extending through the display panel in a thickness direction thereof to allow the center rotating shaft to pass through the display panel; the second channel communicates with the first channel; the center rotating shaft passes through the first channel and the second channel sequentially, and a portion, between the display panel and the back plate, of the center rotating shaft is a light transmitting portion made of a transparent material.

Light guide assembly, method for manufacturing the same, and total reflective display device

A light guide plate includes a through hole; at least one light transmitting component disposed within the light guide plate; at least one light incident surface; at least one light source; and at least one lens structure located between the light source and the incident surface. The light transmitting component is configured to transmit a portion of light that enters the light incident surface to a first region of the light guide plate that would otherwise be masked by the through hole. The light guide plate might backlight a display panel. A method for manufacturing the light guide plate is also provided.

An encapsulating method and an encapsulating structure of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display substrate and a display device are provided. The encapsulating method of the OLED display substrate includes: encapsulating together the OLED display substrate and a encapsulating cover having a deformation functional layer, in which the deformation functional layer is disposed in an encapsulating chamber formed between the OLED substrate and the encapsulating cover; there are gaps between a display functional layer on the OLED display substrate and the deformation functional layer; the deformation functional layer can be deformed under the action of electric field; and controlling the electric field applied to the deformation functional layer, and allowing the deformation functional layer to fill the entire encapsulating chamber.
