The present disclosure relates to a railway video resource interconnection and convergence system and a convergence method. The system includes: a security device and a railway video sharing cloud platform. The security device is configured to map, under the condition that a first resource network is physically isolated from other resource networks, an internet protocol address of the first resource network of video resources to an internet protocol address of a shared network; and the railway video sharing cloud platform is configured to acquire a stream of the video resources, and convert the stream of the video resources into a stream of a preset standard format. The present disclosure solves the problem of secure and effective integration of video resources of a professional video monitoring system in a railway and a comprehensive video monitoring system.

Railway video resource interconnection and convergence system and method

Example methods are provided for a first host to handle control-plane connectivity loss in a virtualized computing environment that includes the first host, multiple second hosts and a network management entity. The method may comprise: detecting a loss of control-plane connectivity between the first host and the network management entity; and generating a request message for control information that the first host is unable to obtain from the network management entity. The method may also comprise sending the request message via a peer-to-peer network that connects the first host with the multiple second hosts; and obtaining the control information from a response message that is sent by at least one of the multiple second hosts.

Handling control-plane connectivity loss in virtualized computing environments

Example methods are provided for configuring traffic flow monitoring in a virtualized computing environment. The method may comprise identifying a first logical entity and a second logical entity for which traffic flow monitoring is required and determining a span associated with the first logical entity and the second logical entity. The span may include a first host supporting the first logical entity and a second host supporting the second logical entity. The method may also comprise, based on the span, configuring the first host to monitor a first traffic flow travelling through the first logical entity at the first host, and the second host to monitor a second traffic flow travelling through the second logical entity at the second host.
