A battery cover latching structure is used to latch a battery cover to a housing of an electronic device. The battery cover includes a latching portion. The housing defines a receiving portion and a latching slot communicating to the receiving portion. The battery cover latching structure includes an urging member and a spring member elastically connected between the urging member and the housing. The urging member is rotatably connected to the housing. The urging member includes an urging portion extending into the latching slot. To close the battery cover, the latching portion is positioned on the receiving portion of the housing, and then the battery cover is pushed to allow the latching portion slide into the latching slot to engage with the urging portion to latch the batter cover to the housing.

Battery cover latching structure and electronic device employing same

A portable electronic device includes a first cover, a second cover and a connecting mechanism connecting the first cover with the second cover. The connecting mechanism includes a fixing base fixed on the first cover, a turning base fixed on the second cover, a first linking board rotatably connected to the fixing base and the turning base, a second linking board rotatably connected to the fixing base and the turning base. The fixing base, the first linking board, the turning base and the second linking board collectively form a four-bar linkage mechanism. The connecting mechanism further includes an arc spring urged between the second linking board and the fixing base to supply an elastic force to the four-bar linkage mechanism.

Portable electronic device

A sliding mechanism and a portable electronic device using the same are disclosed. The sliding mechanism includes a base plate, a siding plate, a connecting plate and a support plate. The sliding plate is slidably assembled with the base plate and located upon the base plate. The connecting plate is hinged to the sliding plate and configured to be located above the corresponding sliding plate when in a closed configuration or be rotated to form an angle with the sliding plate. The support plate with two ends thereof rotatably couple with the connecting plate and the base plate. The support plate is configured to be operatably laid on the base plate in a closed configuration or form an angle with the base plate to support the corresponding connecting plate.
