This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for CRC scrambling for SCI in sidelink communication. A wireless transmitter may be configured to scramble bits of SCI based on a scrambling sequence and transmit the SCI to a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver may receive the SCI having CRC bits scrambled with the scrambling sequence and attempt to decode the SCI, including descrambling the CRC bits of the SCI. The SCI may include a first portion of SCI transmitted in a PSCCH and a second portion of SCI transmitted in a PSSCH.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may select one or more additional resources in a dynamic resource region for a second set of communications to a second UE, the one or more additional resources being in addition to one or more resources in a semi-static resource region for a first set of communications to the second UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE, a request that the one or more additional resources be reserved for the second set of communications to the second UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Dynamic resources for sidelink communication

Aspects relate to transmission of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) information. A user equipment may receive a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate carried by a control resource set that also carries a second PDCCH candidate, where these PDCCH candidates are associated with different aggregation levels. The user equipment may identify a PUCCH resource for transmission of information (e.g., an ACK or a NACK) that is associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission scheduled by the first PDCCH candidate. For example, the user equipment may identify the PUCCH resource based on a control channel element (CCE) index that corresponds to a starting CCE of the first PDCCH candidate and the second PDCCH candidate.

Identification of control channel resource

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects more specifically relate to sidelink communications and PSFCH padding. In some aspects, a channel occupancy time (COT) initiating UE may obtain physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) information indicating that a PSFCH transmission is to occupy a common interlace and one or more physical resource blocks. The COT initiating UE may communicate a padding signal within a PSFCH gap of the common interlace in accordance with identifying that the COT initiating UE and the responding UE are not to transmit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback within the PSFCH gap of the common interlace. In some other aspects, the PSFCH information may indicate that the PSFCH transmission is to occupy a dedicated interlace, and the COT initiating UE may communicate a padding signal on a PSFCH resource within the dedicated interlace.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for implicitly determining a receive beam for a UE to use for received signal strength indicator (RSSI) measurement. For example, the UE may perform RSSI measurement with a receive beam implicitly determined at the UE and report the RSSI to a network entity.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to, at a wireless communication device, occupying a slot in a first subchannel, wherein the first subchannel comprises a sidelink subchannel in a licensed band, transmitting sidelink control in the first subchannel during the slot, except during a symbol gap indicated to include at least a last symbol of a plurality of symbols supported by the slot, seeking access to a secondary carrier in an unlicensed band, and transmitting sidelink traffic in the secondary carrier upon receiving the access to the secondary carrier. FBE-based licensed assisted sidelink access

Wireless communications systems and methods related frame-based equipment (FBE) communications in a wireless communication network are provided. A method of operating abase station (BS) includes transmitting a channel occupancy time (COT) indicator in a first fixed frame period (FFP) to a user equipment (UE) in frame based equipment (FBE) mode; transmitting downlink control information (DCI) during a window of the first FFP; and receiving uplink (UL) data from the UE during a second FFP following the first FFP according to the DCF A method of operating a UE includes receiving a COT indicator in a first FFP from a base station BS in FBE mode; monitoring a window of the first FFP; receiving a DCI during the window; and transmitting UL data to the BS during a second FFP following the first FFP according to the DCI.

A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE) comprises transmitting, in a first channel occupancy time (COT), a first sidelink (SL) data communication in a first RB-set to a second UE, and a second SL data communication in a second RB-set to a third UE. The method further includes receiving, from the second UE in the first COT: a first SL feedback communication in the first RB-set; and a repetition of the first SL feedback communication in the second RB-set. The method further includes transmitting, to the second UE in the first COT after the receiving the first SL feedback communication, a third SL data communication in the first RB-set, and transmitting, to the third UE in the first COT after receiving the repetition of the first SL feedback communication, a fourth SL data communication in the second RB-set.

Physical sidelink feedback channel transmissions for wideband transmission opportunities in shared frequency bands

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine resource selection priority levels associated with available resources for sidelink signaling in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, the resources selection priority levels may be determined based on resource reservation information of the available resources, a time domain location of the available resources, or both. For example, a first resource of the available resources may be associated with a higher priority than a second resource of the available resources in resource selection. The UE may select one or more resources for the sidelink signaling from the available resources based on the resource selection priority levels associated with the available resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink signaling on the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band using the one or more selected resources.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configurations for a plurality of search space sets for a control resource set (CORESET), the plurality of search space sets including one or more of a first type of search space set configured with multiple frequency domain monitoring locations or a second type of search space set configured without multiple frequency domain monitoring locations. The UE may receive a physical downlink control channel communication based at least in part on monitoring the plurality of search space sets according to a determination that the CORESET is associated with search space sets of a same type. The UE may transmit an uplink control information (UCI) message indicating a second PUSCH transmission occasion of the set of PUSCH transmission occasions that will be unused by the UE, where the second PUSCH transmission occasion is based on a quantity of uplink traffic within a message buffer at the UE, the second PUSCH transmission occasion conflicting with a set of reserved resources, or both. The UE may then communicate with a network entity based on transmitting the UCI message, where the communicating includes refraining from transmitting messages within the second PUSCH transmission occasion.

Techniques for indicating unused configured grant PUSCH occasions

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability to support receipt of multiple related downlink control channel transmissions, where the multiple related downlink control channel transmissions that are supported are one or more of single-frequency network (SFN) downlink control channel transmissions, intra-slot downlink control channel repetitions, or inter-slot downlink control channel repetitions, and are associated with one or more control resource sets. The UE may receive, from the base station based on transmission of the UE capability, a configuration for receiving the multiple related downlink control channel transmissions. The UE may then monitor a downlink control channel in accordance with the configuration.

Techniques for signaling user equipment capability for PDCCH repetition

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a user equipment (UE) to receive, via a first active cell serving the UE, a first control message activating a set of transmission configuration indicator states associated with a set of candidate cells that are inactive at the UE. The UE may receive, via the first active cell after receiving the first control message, a second control message indicating for the UE to switch to a second cell of the set of candidate cells.
