The electrolyte contains lithium salt and solvent, wherein the lithium salt is lithium hexafluorophosphate and its concentration in the electrolyte is between 1.5&#x2dc;7 mol/L. The lithium battery of the present invention has characteristics of high power, high energy and low self-discharge rate. Meanwhile, the present invention also discloses a preparation method of the lithium battery and use thereof.
