A method and apparatus of transmitting control information in a wireless communication system is provided. A sequence corresponding to control information from a sequence set is determined. A reference modulation symbol set corresponding to a mini unit by modulating the sequence is generated. At least one reordered modulation symbol set is generated by reordering and repeating the reference modulation symbol set. The at least one reordered modulation symbol set is reordered in a unit of a subgroup. The reference modulation symbol set and the at least one reordered modulation symbol set are mapped to the plurality of mini units in the resource unit respectively.

Method and apparatus for transmitting control information in wireless communication system

A method of transmitting a control signal in a wireless communication system includes receiving data or a control signal, and transmitting a feedback signal through a control channel in response to the data or the control signal, wherein the control channel comprises a plurality of mini-tiles in a plurality of tiles, each of which consists of at least one orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol in a time domain and at least one subcarrier in a frequency domain, and if the plurality of tiles have the same pilot pattern, the plurality of mini-tiles are cyclically selected from the plurality of tiles, and if the plurality of tiles have cyclically-arranged pilot patterns, the plurality of mini-tiles are selected at the same position from the plurality of tiles.

Method of transmitting control signal in wireless communication system

A method of transmitting a pilot method in a multi-antenna system is provided. The method comprises generating a preceding matrix including a preceding vector, the preceding vector being applied to each of data streams to be transmitted, performing preceding procedure for a pilot by using the preceding matrix, and transmitting the precoded pilot, wherein transmission power of the precoded pilot is determined specifically to the each of the data streams. The transmission power of a precoded pilot can be controlled adaptively, individually and independently for each channel to improve channel estimation performance.
