A cheque recognition device includes a magnetic ink character recognition unit disposed on a cheque moving path along which an introduced cheque is transferred such that it can recognize a magnetic ink character printed on the cheque headed for one side of the cheque moving path; and a control unit for analyzing the magnetic ink character recognized in the magnetic ink character recognition unit to verify whether or not the cheque is normal.

An apparatus for controlling reception of various kinds of paper media includes a reception unit to allow the various kinds of paper media to be received, a pick-up unit to pick up the paper media from the reception unit one sheet by one sheet, a transport unit to transport the picked up paper media, a separation control sensing unit mounted on the transport unit to sense whether the paper media is passing through a predetermined transport path, a skew sensing unit mounted on the transport unit to sense skew of the paper media, and a control unit to operate the pick-up unit when the separation control sensing unit senses the paper media passing, and to suspend a forward operation of the transport unit and operate the transport unit backwards when the skew sensing unit senses the skew of the paper media.

The bill storage device in an automated teller machine includes an input port through which a bill introduced in the automated teller machine is inputted perpendicularly; a pair of opening/closing plates for supporting both side surfaces of the bill inputted into the input port; first and second storage parts arranged at both sides of the input port; a push bar placed in the input port and stroke-operated selectively toward the storage part in which the bill is inputting; a push bar driving motor for performing a stroke-operation of the push bar; and a pair of push plates forcing a pressure toward the input port to support perpendicularly the bill stored by a stroke-operation of the push bar.

A bill recycle machine including a push plate exerting pressure on bills, which can apply separation pressure required for separating bills and also can be elevated upward and downward so as to prevent the push plate from being interfered with by a pickup roller when untaken bills is collected again. The bill recycle machine includes: a front plate forming a wall surface of a front side of a bill receiving space formed at a lower part of a shutter, a push plate which forms a first bill receiving space between the push plate and the front plate, a stack plate installed at an opposite side of the first bill receiving space, based on the push plate, so as to support bills stacked by a stack wheel; and a transfer plate forming a second bill receiving space between the transfer plate and the stack plate.

Bill recycling machine

Disclosed is a bill recycle machine, in which a separation part for separating bills from each other and a push plate are installed at the same level as a bill receiving space, and an elevation plate is removed, so that a simple structure and small volume thereof can be achieve. The bill recycle machine includes: a front plate forming a wall surface of a front side of a bill receiving space formed at a lower part of a shutter, the front plate rotating about a hinge shaft of an upper part of the front plate; a push plate forming a first bill receiving space between the push plate and the front plate; a stack plate installed at an opposite side of the first bill receiving space, based on the push plate, so as to support bills stacked through a stack wheel; a transfer plate forming a second bill receiving space between the transfer plate and the stack plate; and a pickup roller installed at a position allowing the pickup roller to make contact with bills stacked in the first bill receiving space when the push plate moves frontward.

A cash transaction machine includes a storage for storing paper media, a first transfer element transferring the paper media sheet by sheet from the storage, a temporary stack part located at an end portion of the first transfer element in order to stack the transferred paper media and vertically transfer a stack of the paper media, a second transfer element including an upper transfer part and a lower transfer part for transferring the stack of paper media, a rejecting element including a moving cover sliding right and left in an entry space provided at the lower transfer part, and a withdrawal extension part formed corresponding to the end portion structures of the second transfer element and the rejecting element and installed at the end portion to provide an extension path connected to the transfer path. Also, the end portion structure of the second transfer element may be identical with the end portion structure of the withdrawal extension part, thereby simply installing the withdrawal extension part at the front or the rear surfaces of the withdrawal apparatus.

Apparatus of withdrawing cash from cash transaction machine

A shutter apparatus of a cash transaction machine, including: a drive unit; a cam rotating body engaged with the drive unit and including a guide rail eccentric to the rotation center thereof; and a shutter including a guide projection moving along the guide rail, which shuffles a straight path in response to the rotation of the cam rotating body. Since the shutter can be moved by using the rotation of the cam rotating body, the structure of the shutter apparatus can be simply maintained. Also, the rotation center of the cam rotating body and the guide projection are located on one straight line, thereby forming a structural lock without an additional locking unit.
