The present invention relates to a candle which includes a base unit and a candle body which is mounted to the base unit. The candle body includes a wick and a fibre optic running therethrough. The base unit includes a light sensor configured to detect light from the wick, when lit. There is additionally provided a light source configured to operate in dependence on detection of light by the light sensor.

Provided are techniques for using containers to store objects. One data store from a set of data stores is assigned as a primary data store, wherein the remaining data stores comprise secondary data stores. A container for a group is created on the primary data store. A unique identifier for the container is generated on the primary data store. Metadata for the container is stored on the primary data store. Zero or more objects are stored in the container on the primary data store. For each of the secondary data stores that have objects belonging to the group, a container is created in that secondary data store having the unique identifier, wherein the container spans the primary data store and the secondary data stores, and wherein the objects in the container do not span the primary data store and the secondary data stores.

The methods include, for instance: synchronizing, by one or more processor, first virtual machine(s) with a second virtual machine, the synchronizing comprising mirroring first input events to the first virtual machine(s); and customizing, by the one or more processor, the first virtual machine(s), the customizing comprising suspending the synchronizing and facilitating sending of second input events to the first virtual machine(s). In one embodiment, the synchronizing comprises cloning the second virtual machine to create the first virtual machine(s), the cloning comprising initializing the first virtual machine(s), and copying second virtual machine state information to the first virtual machine(s). In another embodiment, the customizing comprises decrementing an available first virtual machine counter, and the synchronizing comprises cloning the second virtual machine to create another first virtual machine responsive to the available first virtual machine counter having a certain value.

Customizing mirror virtual machine(s)

This invention relates to a regenerated cellulose film, a functional film and preparation method thereof. The method mainly comprises the following steps: (1) shaping a cellulose/ionic liquid solution by die extrusion, calendering and casting; (2) the shaped solution entering into a coagulation bath to form a cellulose gel film; (3) in coagulation and washing processes, stretching the cellulose gel film at least 1 time in the transverse direction and at least 1 time in the longitudinal direction; (4) in drying process, further applying tension to the stretched film in the transverse and longitudinal directions, and finally obtaining a regenerated cellulose film by rolling. An organic and/or an inorganic functional additive can be added into the cellulose/ionic liquid solution to obtain a regenerated cellulose functional film. The regenerated cellulose film and the functional film thereof obtained by the above method have well-balanced and relative high longitudinal and transverse tensile strengths, as well as good flatness.
