A pixel circuit and a display panel including the same are disclosed according to embodiments. The pixel circuit according to embodiments includes a first pixel circuit including a first EM transistor to which a pulse of a first EM signal is applied, and a first driving transistor for driving a first light emitting element; and a second pixel circuit including a second EM transistor to which a pulse of a second EM signal is applied, and a second driving transistor for driving a second light emitting element. A node between the first EM transistor and the first driving transistor and a node between the second EM transistor and the second driving transistor are connected.

Pixel circuit and display panel including the same

The present disclosure relates to a display panel and a display device using the same, and includes a second pixel area in which pixels having a resolution or pixels per inch (PPI) lower than that of a first pixel area are arranged. A data voltage of pixel data to be written to a pixel in the second pixel area is applied to a first gate electrode of a driving element disposed in the second pixel area. A compensation voltage for increasing luminance of the second pixel area is applied to a second gate electrode of the driving element.

A display device comprises: pixels connected to a power line to which a pixel driving voltage is supplied; data lines that extend in a first direction and are connected to the pixels, the data lines applying data voltages of an image to the pixels; gate lines that are connected to the pixels and extend in a second direction, the gate lines applying gate signals to the pixels; a data driver configured to supply the data voltages to the data lines during a display mode, and to supply sensing data to the data lines during a sensing mode; a gate driver configured to supply the gate signals to the gate lines; and a sensing circuit configured to sense current flowing through the power line that is connected to a subset of pixels from the pixels during the sensing mode, the subset of pixels arranged along the first direction.

Gate driver and display device using the same

Disclosed herein are a foldable display and a driving method thereof which activate an entirety of a screen of a flexible display panel and display an image on a maximum screen when the flexible display panel is unfolded in an unfolded state, and activate a part of the screen when the flexible display panel is folded in a folded state to display the image on a screen that is smaller than the maximum screen and to display a black color on a deactivated screen.
