A fan motor for an air conditioner includes a rotor shaft, a plurality of rotor cores arranged in a circumferential direction about a center of the rotor shaft, a bridge configured to couple the rotor cores, permanent magnets coupled to the plurality of rotor cores, and an insert-injected rotor body provided in a space formed through the rotor shaft, the rotor cores, the bridge, and the permanent magnets. A cable holder for the fan motor includes an upper cable holder in which a plurality of protrusion walls are formed downwardly, a lower cable holder in which a plurality of guide walls coupled between the plurality of protrusion walls are formed upwardly, and a soldering land which is formed in a lower portion of the lower cable holder and upon which a wire can be soldered.

A motor for a washing machine includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes a rotor casing including a base portion formed in a disk shape and a vertical wall extending substantially perpendicularly from an outer periphery of the base portion, a permanent magnet provided on an inner surface of the vertical wall of the rotor casing, and a connecting member provided at a center of the base portion of the rotor casing and connected to a shaft. The base portion of the rotor casing includes a first ring portion facing a coil portion of the stator and a second ring portion, provided with a plurality of air inlet holes, that is positioned between the first ring portion and the connecting member and does not face the coil portion of the stator.

A rotor and an electric motor including the rotor are provided. The electric motor includes a rotor and a plurality of stators. The rotor includes a plurality of main magnets that are disposed spaced apart from each other along a circumferential direction with respect to a rotation axis of the rotor, and have a magnetizing direction that is a direction of the rotation axis, a plurality of auxiliary magnetic units that are disposed on both sides of each of the main magnets in the direction of the rotation axis, and have a magnetizing direction that is the circumferential direction, so as to concentrate magnetic flux in each of the main magnets, and a plurality of webs that are disposed between the auxiliary magnetic units so as to generate a reluctance torque.

Exemplary embodiments disclose a rotor of an electric motor and an electric motor using the same. The rotor includes a core which includes a plurality of protrusion portions which are arranged along an outer circumference of the core and protrude radially to an outer portion of the core, and a plurality of concave portions interposed between the protrusion portions; a plurality of permanent magnets which are respectively disposed at the plurality of concave portions; and a plurality of pole pieces which are disposed at the plurality of concave portions and at outer sides of the plurality of permanent magnets. A length of each of the plurality of pole pieces in an axial direction is shorter than a length of each of the plurality of protrusion portions in the axial direction.

A thermoelectric device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The thermoelectric device includes a middle substrate, electrodes, N-type thermopiles, and P-type thermopiles, in which the N-type thermopile and the P-type thermopile are electrically connected to each other by the electrodes in series. The thermoelectric device includes further includes an upper substrate bonded to an upper surface of the middle substrate and a lower substrate bonded to a lower surface of the substrate, such that a temperature difference is provided between opposite sides of each of the N-type thermopiles and the P-type thermopiles.

An in-wheel assembly includes an in-wheel actuator and a wheel. The in-wheel actuator includes a driving motor; a hollow shaft which is disposed inside of the driving motor and driven by a rotational speed of the driving motor to rotate; a decelerator which is arranged in an inner space of the hollow shaft and configured to reduce a rotational speed of the hollow shaft and output the reduced rotational speed to an output shaft; and a shaft support which is configured to support the hollow shaft to rotate with respect to the driving motor and the decelerator. The wheel accommodates the in-wheel actuator and is driven by a rotational speed decreased by the decelerator to rotate.

In-wheel actuator and in-wheel assembly comprising the same

An in-wheel assembly includes an in-wheel actuator and a wheel. The in-wheel actuator includes a driving motor, a decelerator which is disposed in the driving motor and configured to decrease a rotational speed received from the driving motor, and an output shaft which is configured to receive the rotational speed decreased by the decelerator. The wheel is configured to accommodate the in-wheel actuator in an inner space and is driven by the rotational speed of the output shaft to rotate.

A rotor and a motor are provided in which the q-axis inductance is increased and the leakage of magnetic flux is prevented to ensure high power operation at high level driving speeds. The rotor includes a rotor core, which is formed at the center thereof with a hole coupled to a shaft, and a module configured to be coupled to the rotor core and comprises a pair of first permanent magnets, which are space apart from each other, and a first connection part connecting ends of the first permanent magnets to each other.

A method and apparatus for generating a three-dimensional FEM are provided. In the three-dimensional FEM generating method, a surface mesh is generated by meshing the surface of a three-dimensional model of a three-dimensional object. A projected contour is generated by projecting the three-dimensional model from one direction, and a projected contour mesh is generated by meshing the surface of the projected contour. A solid base mesh is generated by stacking solid elements on a base side formed of two-dimensional elements of the projected contour mesh. The surface mesh is substituted into the solid base mesh in alignment with the projected contour. A final solid mesh is generated by distinguishing solid elements surrounded by the surface mesh in the solid base mesh.

Method and apparatus for generating three-dimensional finite element mesh

A terminal includes a lower housing; an upper housing slidably installed with respect to the lower housing; and a pressing member with both ends being supported by the lower and upper housings, respectively, for providing variable levels of pressure in diverse directions according to a sliding position of the upper housing with respect to the lower housing, wherein one end of the pressing member is movably linked to the lower housing. The small-sized pressing member provides a maximum level of pressure to facilitate the sliding movement of the upper housing with respect to the lower housing. A vibrating element of an ultrasonic motor includes a vibrating member, and a piezoelectric body to produce a traveling wave thus to vibrate the vibrating member when electric power is applied to the piezoelectric body.
