A method of correcting measurements of a chemical sensor used in an industrial facility. The method involves correcting for errors known to occur in the steady state and the dynamic state for specifically recognized situations. This method allows for correcting errors that occur due to deadtime, false zero measurements, and non-linear disturbances. The method combines automated measurement techniques and human know how to progressively learn and refine the accuracy of the corrections.

Development and implementation of analyzer based control system and algorithm

A modular wind turbine assembly platform (WTAP) comprises a crane module and at least one work module for temporary storage of wind turbine components, and a modular floating hull assembly platform (FHAP) comprises a crane module and at least one work module for temporary storage of floating platform hull components and a large floating mat, wherein each of the modules comprises a rectangular hull and a plurality of retractable legs with each leg featuring a large-size footing in a water depth of 5 to 15 meters. A method for assembly of a floating offshore wind turbine comprises a floating wind assembly base (FWAB) including the modular FHAP and WTAP deployed at a near-shore site within a distance of 200 to 2000 meters from a shoreline. The method further comprises assembling a floating platform hull and lowering it into the water using the FHAP with the floating mat, then assembling and integrating a wind turbine with the floating platform hull using the WTAP.

Development and implementation of analyzer based on control system and algorithm

A vertical oil storage system is disclosed, having an oil tank for storing oil and water, an oil caisson coupled to the top of the oil tank, a water caisson coupled to the bottom of the oil tank, and a containment saucer at the interface between the oil and the water stored in the oil tank. Additionally, there is a water pipe extending from an upper water sump in the center well to the water caisson, a water passageway extending from the center well to the water caisson, and an oil pipe extending from the topside facility to the oil caisson.

Vertical oil storage system and its method for deepwater drilling and production

A vertically installed Spar-type floater for offshore wind turbine and related construction method are provided. The floating system is a gravity stabilized deep-draft floater including a plurality of vertically extending columns, each column containing a ballast material; a ballast tank coupled to the lower end of each of the columns; a top deck having a plurality of through-bores approximate its periphery coupled to the upper end of each of the columns; a wind turbine assembly supported by the top deck at the center; a plurality of mooring lines linking the floating system to the sea floor. The floating system has a temporary vertically towing configuration which allows the entire floating wind turbine system to be assembled at a quayside and towed vertically to an offshore site, and self-installed into operating configuration.
