In a phase-change cooling module and a battery pack using the phase-change cooling module, the phase-change cooling module includes a body, a porous layer and a cooling medium. The body has a cooling channel formed through an inside of the body along a predetermined passage, and is attached to an cooling object to transfer a heat from the cooling object to the cooling channel. The porous layer is formed on a side wall of the cooling channel with a predetermined thickness, and has a plurality of pores at a surface of the porous layer. The cooling medium makes contact with the porous layer and flows an inside of the cooling channel, to absorb the heat from the cooling object. The cooling medium uses the heat from the cooling object as a potential heat for a boiling.

Phase-change cooling module and battery pack using same

In a system for controlling battery cell temperature and a method for controlling the system, the system includes a planar shape heat transferring unit, a cooling plate, a heating plate, a radiator, a heater and a controller. The planar shape heat transferring unit makes contact with a battery cell. The cooling plate is disposed at a first side of the battery cell to be heat-transferred with the planar shape heat transferring unit. The heating plate is disposed at a second side of the battery cell to be heat-transferred with the planar shape heat transferring unit. The radiator is connected to the cooling passage, to provide a cooled first fluid to the cooling passage. The heater is connected to the heating passage, to provide a heated second fluid to the heating passage. The controller is configured to provide the first fluid or the second fluid.

A blade for a gas turbine includes an external structure including a plurality of seating grooves which are separately disposed in a chord direction toward a trailing edge from a leading edge, an internal structure received in the external structure and including a plurality of protrusions protruding toward an internal side of the external structure, a plurality of porous strips combined to the seating groove in an attachable/detachable way, and a coolant channel formed for a coolant to flow among the porous strip, the neighboring protrusions, and an external side of the internal structure.

The present invention relates to an apparatus of generating momentum which drives an object. The present invention provides a momentum generating apparatus in which a pair of high temperature superconducting coils which are wound in different directions and have different superconducting properties are arranged in parallel and the same current flows in the pair of coils to be in a stable state where magnetic fields generated in the coils are cancelled and an asymmetric current is suddenly applied to the pair of coils through a switching operation to generate a magnetic field and an eddy current is induced in a plate due to the generated magnetic field and the plate is floated using a repulsive force between the magnetic field generated in the plate due to the eddy current and the magnetic field generated in the pair of coils, to instantaneously generate force using a small amount of superconducting coils.
