An ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer and method for preparing the same is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer satisfying the following conditions, (a) a density of 0.85 to 0.89 g/cc, (b) a molecular weight distribution of 1.8 to 2.3, (c) a melt index (MI) of 1 to 100 dg/min, and (d) a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of a crystallization peak of 15 or more. The ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer has high volume resistance and light transmittance.

Ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with excellent electrical insulation

An ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer and method for preparing the same is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer satisfying the following conditions, (a) a density of 0.85 to 0.89 g/cc, (b) a molecular weight distribution of 1.5 to 2.3, (c) a melting temperature of 85° C. or less, and (d) a free volume proportional constant (C) of 600 or less. The ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer has high volume resistance and light transmittance.

The present invention relates to a polypropylene-based composite, including (A) polypropylene, and (B) an olefin-based polymer satisfying the following conditions: (1) a melt index (MI, 190° C., 2.16 kg load conditions) is from 0.1 g/10 min to 10.0 g/10 min, (2) a melting temperature when measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is from 20° C. to 70° C., and (3) a high temperature melting peak is confirmed at 75° C. to 150° C. when measured by a differential scanning calorimetry precise measurement method (SSA), and a total enthalpy of fusion ΔH(75) of a corresponding region is 1.0 J/g or more. The polypropylene-based composite of the present invention may show excellent impact strength.

The present invention relates to a polypropylene-based composite, including (A) polypropylene, and (B) an olefin-based polymer satisfying the following conditions: (1) a melt index (MI, 190° C., 2.16 kg load conditions) is from 0.1 g/10 min to 10.0 g/10 min, (2) a density (d) is from 0.860 g/cc to 0.880 g/cc, and (3) T(90)-T(50)≤50 and T(95)-T(90)≥10 are satisfied, wherein T(50), T(90) and T(95) are temperatures at which 50%, 90%, and 95% are melted, respectively, when fractionating a temperature-heat capacity curve from measurement results by the differential scanning calorimetry precise measurement method (SSA). The polypropylene-based composite of the present invention may show excellent impact strength.

The present invention relates to an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having a high weight average molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution, and at the same time, a reduced characteristic relaxation time, thereby showing excellent physical properties, and a method for preparing the same. A resin composition having improved volume resistance and excellent light transmittance may be prepared by using such ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. Ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer and method for preparing the same

An olefin-based polymer and method of making the same is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the olefin-based polymer has multiple crystallinity and satisfies the following: (1) two or more peaks in a temperature range of −20° C. to 120° C. when measured by cross-fractionation chromatography (CFC), and T(90)−T(50)<8.0° C., (2) a soluble fraction (SF) of 1 wt % or less at −20° C. in CFC, (3) 15° C.<elution temperature (Te)<50° C., and Te has a linear correlation with a density (d) of the polymer, and satisfies the following Equation 1, Te=1,220×d−A, wherein 1,031≤A≤1,039. The olefin-based polymer according to the present invention is an olefin-based polymer having relatively increased the ratio of high crystal regions, and exhibits excellent mechanical properties such as improved tensile strength, tear strength, and flexural modulus.
