A display substrate includes an insulating substrate, a first gate line, a first lower electrode, a second lower electrode, a first upper electrode, and a second upper electrode. The insulating substrate includes a first pixel region and a second pixel region located at a first direction from the first pixel region. The first gate line extends in a second direction crossing the first direction on the insulating substrate. The first and the second lower electrodes are in the first and the second pixel regions, respectively. The first upper electrode overlaps the first lower electrode in the first pixel region and includes a first slit pattern extending in a third direction different from the first and the second directions. The second upper electrode overlaps the second lower electrode in the second pixel region and includes a second slit pattern extending in a fourth direction different from the first to the third directions.

Display substrate, display panel and display device

A dual-display device includes a flexible substrate comprising first and second surfaces opposing each other, the first surface comprising a first area and a second area, the flexible substrate being bent to allow the first and second areas of the first surface to face each other, the second surface comprising first and second areas opposing the first and second areas of the first surface, respectively. The device further includes a first display unit formed over the first area of the second surface of the bent flexible substrate, and realizing an image; a second display unit formed over second area that is opposite to the first area of the second surface of the bent flexible substrate, electrically connected to the first display unit via lines, and realizing another image; and a common driver unit electrically connected to a pad area that extends from the first display unit, and configured to transmit at least a signal to drive the first display unit and the second display unit.

A thin film transistor array substrate includes an active area in which a plurality of pixels are formed; driver integrated circuits (DICs) disposed in a non-active area around the active area and configured to supply a driving signal to each of the plurality of pixels; power input units partially overlapping with the DICs, disposed below the DICs, and configured to supply power voltages to the active area; and a user key mounting area formed not to overlap with the DICs in the non-active area. The thin film transistor array substrate may be used for an organic light-emitting display apparatus.

A double-sided emission type display device includes a first substrate having a first connection and a first protruded portion extending in a first direction; a first display unit at the first substrate; a second substrate coupled to the first substrate, comprising a second connection and a second protruded portion extending in the first direction; a second display unit at the second substrate; and a first flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) including a first connecting portion coupled to the first connection and a second connecting portion coupled to the second connection.

Double-sided emission type display device

A two side display device includes: a flexible substrate including a first substrate part, a second substrate part under the first substrate part, and a bending part coupling the first substrate part to the second substrate part; a first display panel on the first substrate part and configured to display a first image in a first direction; a second display panel under the second substrate part and configured to display a second image in a second direction opposite the first direction; and a driving chip coupled to the first substrate part. According to exemplary embodiments, first and second display panels are positioned on the same surface of a flexible substrate and configured to display images in opposing directions by bending the flexible substrate, which may reduce the thickness and manufacturing cost of the two side display device.
