A method of voltage balancing among a plurality of battery modules connected in series and supplying power to an external device, and a battery system providing the same, and the battery system of the present invention includes: a battery pack including a plurality of battery modules; a switching circuit connecting the plurality of battery modules in series or in parallel; and a battery management system (BMS) controlling the switching circuit so as to connect the plurality of battery modules in series in a discharge mode to supply power from the battery pack to an external device, a charge mode to charge the battery pack by receiving the power from the external device, and a module balancing mode to charge the plurality of battery modules with the power applied from the external device until a voltage difference is a predetermined reference value or less.

Method of battery balancing and battery system providing the same

This invention relates to a method for gastric cancer diagnosis through the detection of glycan changes, and to a kit for gastric cancer diagnosis. More specifically, based on the fact that in gastric cancer patient-derived haptoglobin, there are changes in N-linked glycosylation of haptoglobin, which are detected through lectin and mass spectrometery, that is, an increase in fucosylation, increases or significant changes in specific glycan structures depending on the classification of antennary structures, or a remarkable decrease in a high mannose structure of the N-glycan as compared to normal persons, N-glycan structures identified using the changes in N-linked glycosylation of haptoglobin may be usefully used as a diagnosis marker in a method for gastric cancer diagnosis using lectin or mass spectrometry, and a kit for gastric cancer diagnosis.

Diagnostic method for gastric cancer

Disclosed herein are a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the growth or metastasis of cholangiocarcinoma, comprising a L1CAM activity inhibitor or expression suppressor and a treatment method using the composition. This is based on the finding that L1CAM is overexpressed on cholangiocarcinoma and plays an important role in the growth and metastasis of cholangiocarcinoma and the mortality of cholangiocarcinoma patients increases as the expression rate of L1CAM increases. Also, antibodies inhibitory of the activity of L1CAM, or siRNAs suppressing the expression of L1CAM, are found to reduce the growth and invasion of cholangiocarcinoma cells. Mouse monoclonal antibodies, recognizing the L1CAM protein on the cholangiocarcinoma cell surface and binding specifically to cholangiocarcinoma tissues, or siRNAs, antisense oligonucleotides or shRNAs, may be useful in the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma by inhibiting the growth, invasion and migration of cholangiocarcinoma cell.
