A computer system includes a display, a motherboard and a power circuit. The display includes a video interface. The motherboard includes a super input-output (SIO) chip. The power circuit includes a first switch unit, a second switch unit, a third switch unit, and an oscillator. When the display is powered on, the video interface outputs a high level signal, the first switch unit is turned on, a power supply powers the oscillator through the first switch unit. The oscillator operates and outputs a high level signal, the second switch unit is turned on, a power-on signal pin of the SIO chip receives a low level signal, and the motherboard is turned on.

Computer system and power circuit therefor

A computer system includes a power supply unit (PSU), a matching circuit, and a chip. The matching circuit includes a voltage conversion unit, a voltage-dividing unit, a first resistor, a comparator, a diode, and a delay unit. The comparator includes a non-inverting terminal electrically coupled to the PSU to receive a power-good signal, an inverting terminal electrically coupled to the voltage-dividing unit to receive a reference voltage, and an output terminal. The delay unit is electrically coupled to a power supply and a power-good signal pin of the chip. When a voltage of the power-good signal is greater than the reference voltage, the output terminal of the comparator outputs a high level signal, the diode is turned off and the power supply is delayed by the delay unit and then output to the power-good signal pin of the chip.

Computer system and matching circuit thereof

A power circuit for an electronic device includes an input terminal, an output terminal, a voltage transform unit, and a control unit. The control unit controls the voltage transform unit to operate or not operate, according to the input terminal receives a first voltage or a second voltage. The first voltage is transformed to an output voltage, and is output by the output terminal, when the input terminal receives the first voltage. The second voltage is transmitted from the input terminal to the output terminal through the third switch unit, when the input terminal receives the second voltage. Therefore, the power circuit can receive the first voltage or the second voltage through the input terminal, and outputs the output voltage to other electronic components.

Power circuit and electronic device utilizing the same

A power on circuit is connected between a video graphics array (VGA) connector of a display and a super input output (SIO) chip of a motherboard. The power on circuit includes first to fourth electronic switches and a timer. When a power button of the display is pressed, a serial data line pin of the VGA connector outputs a high level signal to turn on the first electronic switch, the second electronic switch is turned on, the fourth electronic switch is turned on, and the timer outputs a periodic pulse signal. When the pulse signal outputted from the timer is at a high level, the third electronic switch is turned on, the SIO chip receives a low level signal from the fourth and third electronic switches, and the motherboard is turned on.

Power on circuit

A charging circuit is used to charge a rechargeable battery. The charging circuit includes a voltage conversion unit and a leakage prevention unit. The voltage conversion unit converts a voltage of a power supply into a charging voltage of the rechargeable battery, and outputs the charging voltage to the leakage prevention unit. When the leakage prevention unit receives the charging voltage, the leakage prevention unit charges the rechargeable battery with the charging voltage. When the leakage prevention unit does not receive the charging voltage, the leakage prevention unit prevents a leakage of the rechargeable battery.

Electronic device and charging circuit thereof

A short circuit detection device is provided to check a circuit layout. The circuit layout includes electronic components connected in parallel. Any of the electronic components includes two contacts on the circuit layout. The short circuit detection device includes a determination circuit configured to determine whether a short circuit has occurred in the circuit layout, and a detection circuit configured to determine the specific electronic component or components responsible for the short circuit. The determination circuit connects with one contact of any of the electronic components. The detection circuit connects with two contacts of any of the electronic components.

Short circuit detection device

A voltage measurement apparatus includes a power interface, first and second voltage detecting modules, first and second driving modules, and first and second indication modules. The first voltage detecting module compares an output voltage with a first reference voltage, to determine whether the output voltage is greater than the first reference voltage. The second voltage detecting module compares the output voltage with a second reference voltage, to determine whether the output voltage is less than the second reference voltage. The first indication module indicates the output voltage when the output voltage is greater than the upper limit voltage or less than the lower limit voltage. The second indication module indicates the output voltage when the output voltage is less than or equal to the upper limit voltage and greater than or equal to the lower limit voltage.

Voltage measurement apparatus

A device for monitoring a voltage of a motherboard includes a first monitoring circuit, a second monitoring circuit, and an indicating circuit. The first and monitoring circuits are connected to output a control voltage. A value of the control voltage is determined according to a value of the voltage of the motherboard. The control voltage is reduced to control the indicating circuit. The indicating circuit indicates whether the voltage of the motherboard is normal.

Device for monitoring voltage of motherboard

A computer component testing system is used to test a temperature operating range of components of a computer. The computer component testing system includes a power supply, a voltage dividing circuit, an amplifier circuit, a heat generator, a temperature control cabinet to receive the computer and the heat generator, and a temperature tester. The temperature of the component of the computer changes via adjusting the variable resistor to change heat generated by the heat generator, to make the component of the computer be in different temperatures. If the computer changes to a second state from the first state in a temperature, the temperature is determined to be an end temperature of the temperature operating range of the component.

Computer component testing system and temperature control device thereof

A circuit for controlling time sequence of a motherboard to supply power for a motherboard component includes a control circuit, a switch circuit, and a power conversion circuit. The control circuit is configured for receiving a startup signal during turning on the motherboard. The startup signal is configured to turn off the control circuit to delay a first voltage signal received by the first power receiving terminal for a period of time before outputting a new voltage signal. The switch circuit is configured for being turned off under the control of the new voltage signal. The power conversion circuit is configured for converting a second voltage signal into a supply voltage in response to the switch circuit being turned off, to provide the supply voltage to the motherboard component.

Circuit for controlling time sequence

A negative voltage generating circuit includes a pulse generator U, a switch, a resistor, a first capacitor, a first diode, a second diode, and a second capacitor. The pulse generator includes a positive voltage input pin coupled to a power supply, an oscillating output pin, and a negative voltage input pin. The switch includes a first terminal coupled to the oscillating output pin, a second terminal coupled to one terminal of the first capacitor, and coupled to the power supply via the resistor, and a third terminal being grounded. Another terminal of the first capacitor is coupled to the anode of the fist diode and the cathode of the second diode. The cathode of the first diode is grounded. The anode of the second diode is coupled to the positive voltage input pin of the pulse generator, and is coupled to ground via the second capacitor.

Negative voltage generating circuit

A PCI load card includes a PCI interface, an operational amplifier, at least two switches, and a controller. A terminal of each switch is connected to an input terminal of the operational amplifier and connected to a standby power pin of the PCI interface via a first resistor. The other terminals of the at least two switches are respectively connected to ground via at least two resistors. The other input terminal of the operational amplifier is grounded. An output terminal of the operational amplifier is connected to a first terminal of the controller, a second terminal of the controller is connected to a system power pin of the PCI interface, a third terminal of the controller is grounded, the power of the controller is adjusted by controlling the at least two switches.

A clock-up counting terminal of the counter is connected to the second terminal of the second electric switch.

A power control apparatus for automatically turning on and off a motherboard, the power control apparatus includes a power supply supplying electric power to the motherboard periodically, a control circuit including a first switch element, a second switch element, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a first resistor, and a second resistor. When the power supply is powered up, the second capacitor is charged, the second switch element is turned on, a second terminal of the second switch element outputs a low level signal to power up the motherboard. When the motherboard is powered up, the first capacitor is charged, the first switch element is turned on, the second switch element is turned off, the second terminal of the second switch element outputs a high level signal. The motherboard is powered off when the power supply is powered off.
