A polycarbonate resin composition can have improved transparency and scratch resistance of the present invention and comprises about 10 to about 99% by weight of polycarbonate resin (A); and about 1 to about 90% by weight of acrylic copolymer with ultra-low molecular weight and high refractive index (B). The resin composition of the present invention can further comprise acrylic resin (C). The acrylic copolymer with ultra-low molecular weight and high refractive index (B) can have a refractive index of about 1.495 to about 1.590 and a weight average molecular weight of about 3,000 to about 40,000 g/mol.

High flow thermoplastic resin composition with excellent chemical resistance, impact resistance and gloss

The present invention provides a phosphonate based compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1 and a flameproof thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) a thermoplastic resin and (B) a phosphonate based compound represented by the following Chemical Formula 1. The flameproof thermoplastic resin composition can exhibit good flame retardancy and impact strength. Further, the composition does not include a halogenated flame retardant and thus can provide environmental and safety benefits.

A polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention comprises about 40 to about 99% by weight of a polycarbonate resin (A), about 1 to about 60% by weight of an acrylic copolymer (B) having a high refractive index and a flexible structure, and about 0 to about 60% by weight of acrylic resin (C). A polycarbonate resin composition of the present invention can have excellent transparency and scratch resistance without requiring extra compatibilizers by including an acrylic copolymer having a high refractive index and a flexible structure with the polycarbonate resin.

The present invention provides a chemical and impact resistant thermoplastic resin composition that can have improved extrudability. In one embodiment, the thermoplastic resin composition comprises a base resin including (A) about 1 to about 98% by weight of an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer resin; (B) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a rubber modified styrene copolymer resin; and (C) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a polyester resin; and about 1 to about 6 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl-vinyl cyanide copolymer resin having a weight average molecular weight of about 1,000,000 to about 5,000,000, per 100 parts by weight of the base resin comprising (A)+(B)+(C). In another embodiment, the thermoplastic resin composition comprises a base resin including (A) about 1 to about 98% by weight of an epoxy group-containing vinyl copolymer resin; (B) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a rubber modified styrene copolymer resin; and (C) about 1 to about 98% by weight of a polyester resin; and (E) about 0.01 to about 1 part by weight of an epoxy-based additive, per 100 parts by weight of the base resin comprising (A)+(B)+(C).

Chemical and impact resistant thermoplastic resin composition having improved extrudability

A styrenic thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention comprises about 100 parts by weight of base resin comprising (A) about 10 to about 99 parts by weight of styrenic resin containing an epoxy group and (B) about 1 to about 90 parts by weight of polyester resin; and (C) about 0.1 to about 97 parts by weight of amorphous modified polyester resin, based on the total weight of the base resin. A molded article produced from the styrenic thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention can have excellent impact resistance and paintability.

Flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition having excellent weatherability

Disclosed herein is a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition that has superior scratch resistance and mechanical properties, satisfying requirements for the appearance of housing materials resulting from a recent increase in volume of electrical and electronic products, and that contains a phosphorus-based flame-retarding agent, satisfying requirements for fire safety and prevention of environmental problems.
