A method and system for a lockout in response to a blocked view is disclosed. The method is carried out within at least one network. The at least one network includes at least one network addressable machine and at least one fixed-location camera having a respective Field Of View (FOV). The method includes creating an operation dependency definition between the fixed-location camera and the network addressable machine based on an inclusion of the network addressable machine within the FOV. Video analytics is employed to generate a blocked view alert in response to a blocked view threshold being satisfied in relation to the live video captured by the fixed-location camera. In response to the blocked view alert, the network addressable machine is caused to enter a lockout mode.

The image sensor includes a plurality of image recording pixels and a plurality of reserved pixels. A subset of the plurality of reserved pixels are covered by an infrared cut-off filter. The method includes receiving, at an electronic processor, information corresponding to an object of interest and analyzing, using the electronic processor, the information to identify one or more attributes corresponding to the object of interest affecting an incident workflow for the object of interest. The method also includes generating, using the electronic processor, a modified incident workflow for the object of interest based on the incident workflow and the one or more attributes and storing, in a database, the modified incident workflow and a trigger condition corresponding to the modified incident workflow such that the modified incident workflow and the trigger condition are related to the object of interest in the database. A Push-To-Talk (PTT) server receives, from a device, a control command for an Internet-of-Things (IoT) device, the IoT device and the device mapped to a talkgroup identifier identifying a talkgroup used by the device to send the control command; outputting, via the PTT server, to the IoT device, the control command. The PTT server determines that the control command has failed. The PTT server transmits, to the device, an indication that the control command has failed, the indication transmitted over the talkgroup identified by the talkgroup identifier.
