An ultrasound endoscope includes: a balloon suction duct that is provided inside an insertion portion and that is where liquid inside a balloon is suctioned through, the balloon covering an ultrasound transducer positioned at a distal end of the insertion portion; a rigid portion that includes a balloon groove and an end surface positioned at an end portion of the rigid portion, the end portion being on a distal end side of the balloon groove, the end surface being a surface intersecting a longitudinal direction of the insertion portion, the end surface having an opening formed thereon, the opening communicating with the balloon suction duct; and a holder that is positioned on a distal end side of the rigid portion, the holder being configured to hold the ultrasound transducer.

Ultrasound endoscope

An endoscope includes: a distal-end rigid portion including an opening through which an instrument protrudes; a raising base disposed in the opening and configured to change a direction in which the instrument protrudes; a rotary shaft fixed to the raising base so as to rotate together with the raising base; an arm fixed to the rotary shaft so as to rotate the rotary shaft; a housing formed separately from the distal-end rigid portion, the housing including: a first bearing including a first shaft hole to rotatably support the rotary shaft; and a second bearing integrally formed with the first bearing and including a second shaft hole that is coaxially arranged with the first shaft hole so as to rotatably support the rotary shaft; and a seal member disposed between an outer circumference of the rotary shaft and an inner circumference of the first shaft hole to keep watertightness therebetween.

Endoscope having distal-end rigid portion with rotatable raising base

An endoscope includes a distal-end hard portion at a distal end of an insert, including a body, housing, first and second grooves in the body to extend inwardly, and a through-hole communicating the first and second grooves in the housing; a forceps-raising table in the first groove, including a fitting-groove along a through-hole extending direction; an arm portion including a pillar extending from the second groove to the first groove, a fit-in portion fitted in the fitting-groove on one side, and a connecting portion on the other side, the connecting portion being connected with a forceps-operating wire; and a seal portion on a periphery of the pillar, sealing water-tightly a first gap and a second gap, the first gap being between a periphery of the pillar and a periphery defining the through-hole, and the second gap being between the periphery of the pillar and a periphery defining the fitting-groove.

Endoscope

An endoscope includes an insertion unit configured to be inserted into a subject, and allow a treatment tool to protrude from a distal end thereof. The insertion unit includes: a rigid member having a treatment tool insertion hole; a raising base that adjusts, by turning, a protruding direction of the treatment tool; a first guide groove that is formed on an outer surface of the raising base and holds the treatment tool; and a second guide groove that is formed on at least a part of an inner surface of the treatment tool insertion hole and includes an opening having a width smaller than a diameter of the treatment tool insertion hole. The first guide groove and the second guide groove have the treatment tool interposed therebetween in all of set states of the raising base.

An endoscopic treatment tool includes a sheath; a treatment portion capable of protruding and retracting from a distal end of the sheath; a manipulation main body; a slider which advances and retracts in a longitudinal axis direction to cause the treatment portion to protrude and retract from the sheath; a first locking mechanism which locks the slider at a position at which the distal end of the treatment portion is accommodated in the sheath in accordance with a retracting manipulation of the slider; a second locking mechanism provided at further distal side than the first locking mechanism and restricts advance of the slider by being locked to the manipulation main body; a fixing mechanism provided in the second locking mechanism and fixed to the manipulation main body by sliding; and a restricting portion which restricts fixing of the fixing mechanism to the manipulation main body.

Endoscopic treatment tool and handle

A treatment instrument lifting adjusting portion including a lifting member and an operation wire is disposed outside of a treatment instrument guiding-out path including an exit member and a tube in a distal end portion. Thus, cleaning work can be performed by inserting, for example, a brush into the treatment instrument guiding-out path, and is easily performed similarly to an endoscope of a type having no treatment instrument lifting function.

An endoscope includes: an insertion section inserted into a subject; an operating unit continuously connected to a proximal end of the insertion section; an observation unit disposed at a distal end of the insertion section, and configured to observe the subject; a treatment instrument insertion passage configured to allow insertion of a treatment instrument providing medical treatment to the subject, and project the treatment instrument from a distal end portion of the insertion section; a distal bending portion disposed at a distal end of the treatment instrument insertion passage, and configured to bend according to a raising operation of the operating unit, the distal bending portion including a tube including a super elastic alloy and including a slit formed to reduce power required for the bending operation, and being configured to raise the treatment instrument; and a coating portion provided to cover the distal bending portion.

An endoscope includes an insertion portion, the endoscope being configured to allow a treatment tool to protrude from the insertion portion. The endoscope further includes: a treatment tool elevator base configured to be elevated by rotation around a rotation shaft with respect to a direction in which the insertion portion extends; an operating portion configured to input operation of changing an angle of elevating the treatment tool with respect to the treatment tool elevator base; a wire configured to be connected to the operating portion; a first member including a first engagement portion; and a second member including a second engagement portion and a wire connection portion to be connected to the wire, the second member being configured to: be supported so as to be rotatable with respect to the rotation shaft; and transmit the operation to the treatment tool elevator base.

Endoscope having a biopsy needle with needle elevation mechanism

An ultrasound endoscope includes an insertion portion, an ultrasound transducer provided at a distal end portion of the insertion portion, a first opening portion provided at a distal end portion of the insertion portion, a second opening portion and a raising stand provided at the distal end portion of the insertion portion. Furthermore, the raising stand includes a first contact portion that comes into contact with a treatment instrument protruding from the first opening portion for causing the treatment instrument to extend in a first direction and a second contact portion that comes into contact with a treatment instrument protruding from the second opening portion for causing the treatment instrument to extend in a second direction different from the first direction.

The present invention is a puncture apparatus with an automatic puncture function, that includes: a hollow needle tube; a flexible sheath having the needle tube inserted therethrough; a main body having one of the ends of the sheath fixed thereto; a slider attached to the main body, the slider being capable of sliding in an axial direction relative to the main body; a needle tube-maneuvering section, attached to the slider, capable of sliding in an axial direction relative to the slider, the needle tube-maneuvering section having an end section of the needle tube fixed thereto; a retraction state-maintaining member for maintaining the needle tube-maneuvering section in the retracted state toward a proximal end; an urging member, provided in the needle tube-maneuvering section, for urging a retracted state of the needle tube-maneuvering section toward the distal end; an operation section for resetting the operation of the retraction state-maintaining member; releasing the ejection force; and projecting the needle tube-maneuvering section toward the distal end; and an unintentional operation preventive member, provided to the slider, for holding the operation section in an non-operating state, wherein the non-operating state of the operation section held by the unintentional operation preventive member can be reset only when the distal end of the needle tube is exposed by sliding the slider to a predetermined position relative to the main body.

Puncture apparatus with automatic puncture function

A treatment tool for an endoscope includes a forcep sheath, a first forcep cup and a second forcep cup which are attached to a distal end of the forcep sheath, and which cooperate with each other to be openable/closable as a whole, an operation wire which is movably arranged in the forcep sheath along an axial direction thereof, which is connected to the first forcep cup and the second forcep cup, and which opens/closes the first forcep cup and the second forcep cup when moved in its axial direction, wherein a sharp needle-shaped portion is formed on a distal end of the first forcep cup, the sharp needle-shaped portion extending farther than a distal end of the second forcep cup, and the sharp needle-shaped portion is arranged so that at least a portion thereof overlaps the second forcep cup.

Treatment tool for endoscope

An ultrasound transducer array according to an embodiment includes a substrate, a plurality of groove-like recesses arranged at a predetermined interval on one surface of the substrate, a cell region arranged between the recesses on the one surface side of the substrate, a flexible film configured to cover the substrate and the cell region and having fragility lower than fragility of the substrate, and a dividing groove having a width smaller than a width of the recess and reaching from the other surface of the substrate to the flexible film in the recess.

Ultrasound transducer array, method of manufacturing ultrasound transducer array and ultrasound endoscope

An ultrasound transducer unit includes: an ultrasound element; a substrate; a signal transmission cable; a cylindrical metal shield member that has a large-diameter portion, a small-diameter portion, and a step portion, in which the large-diameter portion covers an outer circumference of the substrate; ground wiring that electrically connects the substrate and an outer circumferential face of the metal shield member; and an opening portion formed in the step portion or the small-diameter portion. The ground wiring is extended to outside the metal shield member from inside the large-diameter portion through the opening portion, and is electrically connected to an outer circumferential face of the small-diameter portion to thereby electrically connect the substrate and the outer circumferential face of the metal shield member.

Ultrasound transducer unit and ultrasound endoscope

An ultrasound transducer includes a substrate and a lower electrode layer, a lower insulating layer, an upper insulating layer, and an upper electrode layer. The lower insulating layer and the upper insulating layer are arranged to be opposed to each other via an air gap section. The upper insulating layer and the lower insulating layer are different in a material and thickness and satisfy Equation 1 below. An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes: transmission and reception signal lines that send transmission and reception signals of ultrasound to a plurality of ultrasound transducers; signal determining portions near the ultrasound transducers and determine a selection signal for selecting an ultrasound transducer to be driven or a readout signal for reading out the selection signal, the selection signal being sent out in synchronization with a transmission signal for forming the transmission and reception signal, and couple the ultrasound transducer to be driven with the transmission and reception signal line according to a result of the determination; and direct current blocking/clipping circuits that block a direct current bias component superimposed on the transmission and reception signal and sent via the transmission and reception signal line, and clip a waveform with large amplitude. The transmission and reception signal line sends the transmission and reception signal with the selection signal or the readout signal.
