A cold cathode flat fluorescent lamp and a driving method for a cold cathode flat fluorescent lamp are provided. The cold cathode flat fluorescent lamp includes a lamp, a transformer and a full-bridge circuit. The lamp has at least a first electrode having a first voltage and a second electrode having a second voltage. The transformer has a primary side and a secondary side, and the full-bridge circuit is used for driving the lamp. In addition, the transformer is connected to the lamp on the secondary side and is connected to the full-bridge circuit on the primary side.

Cold cathode flat fluorescent lamp and driving method therefor

A power converter with a loop-compensated filter is disclosed. The power converter includes a decoupling circuit coupled to receive a signal having a dc component and a ripple component, wherein the dc component is filtered out by the decoupling circuit. A phase shifting circuit is used to shift phase of the ripple component of the signal in the decoupling circuit, and an adding circuit is used to add the phase-shifted rippled component of the signal and a setting signal that is used to regulate level of an output from the power converter. The power converter also includes a switching power conversion circuit coupled to receive an output of the adding circuit, wherein the switching power conversion circuit feeds back the output of the power converter whereby to form a feedback loop. The feedback loop is then compensated by the phase-shifted ripple component of the signal from the phase shifting circuit.

A control apparatus for a network traffic light is provided with a main control device, a lamp control device, and a pair of power transmission lines connected between the main control device and the lamp control device in a ring-shaped fashion to carry the control signals which control each lamp set at an intersection. In this way, the layout engineering is simplified, and thus its cost is reduced. The ring-shaped layout permits the network traffic light to sustain its operation even if some of its lines are broken during road works. Maintenance of the control apparatus is also easy and fast.
