A control system for an electrolytic cell includes a voltage converter converting an input voltage into a decomposition voltage, a temperature sensor generating a sensed temperature, an electric power sensor generating a sensed voltage, and a control unit storing voltage-temperature characteristics. The control unit determines a voltage that corresponds to the sensed temperature according to one of the voltage-temperature characteristics, and generates, according to a difference between the voltage thus determined and the sensed voltage, a control signal which is provided to the voltage converter such that the decomposition voltage decreases along with increase in the sensed temperature.

Control system for an electrolytic cell

The present invention is directed to a device which includes the following features: a light source illuminates a target to generate an optical inspection signal; a probe head provides an optical path for the optical inspection signal; a probe tube arranged at a front end of the probe head; at least one switched filter module arranged in the optical path, allowing the optical inspection signal to pass therethrough to generate a corresponding spectral signal; and an image sensor arranged behind the switched filter module, receiving the spectral signal and generating a spectral image. The spectral image can be transmitted to an external device, wherefrom the user can use the spectral image to examine the target in further detail. The present invention features a rotary-type or movable-type switched filter module, which facilitates the user to switch filters easily during optical inspection.

Portable noninvasive inspection device

A system for measuring microfluctuation of accommodation comprises a measuring module and a processing module. The measuring module includes at least one first sensing element attached to the area around an eye of a testee for measuring an EMG signal. The processing module is coupled with the measuring module for picking up a specific frequency range of the EMG signal as a measurement index of microfluctuation of accommodation, wherein the specific frequency range is between 0.1 Hz and 100 Hz. The system allows the testee to be tested in an open field of view and exempts the testee from experiencing fatigue in the muscle around the eyes. The system is compact and convenient to carry. A method for measuring microfluctuation of accommodation is also disclosed.

An electrolytic tank apparatus includes a tank body and at least one electrode set. The tank body defines an outer tank space for receiving a coolant, and at least one inner tank space that is surrounded by the outer tank space and that is not in fluid communication with the outer tank space. Cmos-based process for manufacturing a semiconductor gas sensor

A piezoelectric speaker driving system includes a band splitter, a plurality of gain producers, an adder, a piezoelectric speaker, a sound compensator and a gain-adjusting device. The band splitter receives a first audio signal and splits the first audio signal into band signals. The gain producers gain the band signals respectively. The adder receives the gained band signals to generate a second audio signal. The piezoelectric speaker outputs a sound according to the second audio signal. The sound compensator analyzes a sound pressure level of the sound to generate a control signal. The gain-adjusting device adjusts the gains of the gain producers according to the control signal.

Piezoelectric speaker driving system and method thereof

A physiological signal collection unit is for use with a physiological signal measuring apparatus to measure physiological signals from an anatomical part of a test subject, in which the anatomical part is covered with hair. The physiological signal collection unit includes a detector and a wearable member. The detector includes a circuit substrate defining a substrate-through-hole to permit hair strands to extend through, an electrical connector, and at least one signal collecting component. The wearable member is to be worn on the anatomical part of the test subject, and is formed with a through-hole having a size smaller than size of the circuit substrate. The through-hole permits the hair strands extending through the circuit substrate to extend through the wearable member.

Physiological signal collection unit and detector thereof

A head-mount eye tracking system including a first light source, a first pupil image capturing device, a first and a second environmental image capturing devices, a fixing device and an image identification system. The first light source is applied to illuminate a first eye of a user. The first pupil image capturing device is applied to capture a first pupil image of the first eye. The first and the second environmental image capturing devices are respectively applied to capture a first and a second environmental images in front of the user. The fixing device is mounted to the head of the user to fix the first light source, the first pupil image capturing device, the first and the second environmental image capturing devices on the head of the user. The image identification system is applied to map the first or the second environmental images to the first pupil image.

Head-mount eye tracking system with improved determination of gazing position

The present invention provides a neural sensing device and method for making the same. The neural sensing device includes a base, an integrated circuit portion, a plurality of microprobes and at least one conductive via. The base has an active surface and a backside surface. The integrated circuit portion is disposed on the active surface of the base. The microprobes protrude from the backside surface of the base. The through silicon via is disposed in the base and electrically connects the integrated circuit portion and the microprobes. Each of the microprobes includes an isolation layer partially covering a conductive layer.

Neural sensing device and method for making the same

The present invention provides a semiconductor device integrating passive elements, which applies to analog circuits, wherein capacitors, resistors and inductors are fabricated by a TVS technology. The semiconductor device comprises a substrate; at least one passive element arranged in the substrate; and at least one semiconductor integrated circuit formed in the substrate. The passive element includes a first conductive layer, a first dielectric layer and a second conductive layer, which are stacked sequentially. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer cooperate with the first dielectric layer to form an equivalent element. The semiconductor circuit is electrically connected with the passive element through the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer to form bidirectional signal transmission paths. The passive elements can be formed on the back side of the substrate to reduce the area occupied by the passive elements in the substrate.

Semiconductor device integrating passive elements

An electrical calibrated radiometer includes a base, a suspension unit extending from the base, and a first heat measuring unit and a second heat measuring unit formed in the base. By applying a known voltage to the first heat measuring unit, the first heat measuring unit could serve as a thermal background for the second heat measuring unit, and an absolute temperature of a heat source could be determined with high precision from output voltages of the second heat measuring unit.

Electrical calibrated radiometer

A wireless intraocular pressure monitoring device includes reflecting and detecting modules. The reflecting module includes a soft contact lens having a curvature corresponding to that of a cornea while worn. A metal layer is embedded in and deformable with the soft contact lens. The detecting module includes two waveguides, an oscillator, and a converting unit. The oscillator is operable to generate oscillation signals having a frequency dependent on an equivalent impedance of the waveguides such that the equivalent impedance corresponds to intraocular pressure. The converting unit is operable for receiving and converting the oscillation signals into an output signal corresponding to the intraocular pressure.
