The present invention relates to LED lamps suitable for forming automotive lighting systems, made of high power lambertian LEDs and a TIR collimator lens. In the present invention, a novel TIR collimator lens is developed to collect the light emitted from the LED source and through a pillow lens array; redistribution occurs to form a light pattern meeting ECE requirements.

The present invention relates to a secondary optical lens for a light emitting diode ('LED') light projector, comprising at least one lens unit, wherein the lens unit consists of a refraction portion in the centre and a total internal reflection portion on the outer ring; the central refraction portion has a convex surface on the bottom and is attached with a plurality of micro lenses; the bottom attached with a micro lens array; the total internal reflection portion on the outer ring of the lens unit comprises a cylindrical light incident surface with a slight draft angle, and a total internal reflection surface on the outer side, which adopts a diamondoid polyhedral flake design; and the top of the lens unit is a smooth plane surface used as the light emitting surface.

Polyhedral secondary optical lens

A lens comprising: a lens body; a total reflection surface provided on an outer side of the lens body, the reflection surface being in the form of a scalelike polyhedron; a recess formed on a bottom side of the lens body at a central region thereof for accommodating a LED, the recess having a side surface and a central surface; a micro lens array formed at the central surface of the recess; and a light-emitting surface provided at a top side of the lens body; wherein a substantially uniform circular light spot is formed by the lens.

Secondary light distribution lens for multi-chip semiconductor (LED) lighting

This invention relates to a secondary optics for the multi-chip LED. It features in that the optics consists of a refraction collimating portion, two total internal reflection (TIR) portions, an emitting surface with a micro lens array, an edge flange and a snap lug for lens assembly. The refraction collimating portion is located on the center of the lens bottom, which has a convex aspheric surface. Around the refraction collimating portion outwards, there are two rounds of TIR prisms, featured in that at least one TIR prism has a flake polyhedral reflection surface. On top of the secondary optics, there is the emitting surface constituted with the micro lens array. The edge flange and the snap lug for lens positioning represent non operational portion and may have any shape. Related to the present invention, the LED used therewith may be a multi-chip or single-chip LED.

A secondary optical lens is invented for use in LED wall wash lights. The secondary optical lens includes a concave body that has an outer surface that extends from a base plane to a top plane, the so-called outer surface is comprised with a diamond-texture flake reflection pattern. Furthermore, the secondary optical lens includes a light incidence surface extending upward from the base plane of the concave body, the so-called light incidence surface includes a cylindrical plane of incidence and an aspheric plane of incidence on top of the cylindrical plane of incidence. And there is a light emitting surface at the top plane of the concave body having a sinusoidal waveform stripe-texture.

A fog lamp may include a Lambertian LED, a collimating lens encompassing the Lambertian LED, a collimating surface including a total internal reflective surface and encompassing the collimating lens, and a corrugated surface attached to the collimating surface at an acute angle with respect to an optic axis of the corrugated surface.
