An air conditioner includes a housing comprising an external panel defining an external appearance and having an opening formed at the external panel; a heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with air flowing into the housing; and an air discharge unit configured to discharge air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger out of the housing. The air discharge unit includes a first discharge unit connected to the opening and discharging air; and a second discharge unit provided at the external panel and discharging air. A method of blowing heat-exchanged air may be changed in accordance with an environment of a user.

The washing machine includes a cabinet having a detergent supplier, a tub arranged in the cabinet to be connected to the detergent supplier and containing mixing water in which washing water supplied to the detergent supplier and a powder detergent are mixed, a drum rotatably installed in the tub, a circulation hose connecting between the tub and the drum for the mixing water contained in a lower portion of the tub to be circulated, a detergent dissolution device generating vortex current in mixing water circulated through the circulation hose to improve solubility of the powder detergent, and a circulation pump arranged in the circulation hose and configured to repeatedly supply and discharge mixing water to and from the detergent dissolution device through on/off controlling.

Washing machine

The washing machine includes a cabinet, a drum installed inside the cabinet, and a fan assembly to guide heated air into the drum. A fan assembly includes a shroud provided with an air inlet hole, a hub rotated by a driving motor, a plurality of blades provided along a circumferential direction of the hub to guide the air introduced through the air inlet hole in the circumferential direction of the hub, and a scroll guiding the air guided in the circumferential direction of the hub into the drum. A partition wall prevents the air guided in the circumferential direction of the hub from being re-introduced into the air inlet hole. The blade includes a shroud contact portion in contact with the shroud and a hub contact portion in contact with the hub. An inflection point is formed between the shroud contact portion and the hub contact portion.

Fan assembly and washing machine having the same

The present disclosure relates to an air conditioner capable of inducing airflow blown through a blowing port to blow in a substantially horizontal direction. The air conditioner includes a housing including a blowing port, and an airflow guide unit installed in the blowing port to be rotatable about a rotation shaft, wherein the airflow guide unit includes a main blade configured to cover the blowing port, and a pair of sub blades spaced downwardly apart from the main blade and disposed in a flow passage of the blowing port such that outer surfaces thereof are in contact with airflow in the blowing port as a whole, and having different inclination angles.

A dryer includes a cabinet, a drum installed in the cabinet and having an inlet through which air is introduced and an outlet through which air is discharged, a heat exchanger configured to remove moisture of the air discharged through the outlet and increase a temperature of the air, a fan installed between the outlet and the heat exchanger and configured to guide the air discharged through the outlet to be introduced into the heat exchanger, a blowing passage connecting the fan to the heat exchanger such that the air discharged through the fan is introduced into the heat exchanger after being bent at 90 degrees, and a vane installed perpendicular to a bottom surface of the blowing passage and disposed at a portion in the blowing passage in which the air introduced into the heat exchanger has a highest flow rate.

Dryer

Disclosed is an air cleaner having an improved boss for increasing rigidity. The air cleaner includes a main body, a blowing fan provided inside the main body, a motor for driving the blowing fan and a boss provided to connect the blowing fan and the motor. The boss includes a first metallic member connected to the blowing fan, a second metallic member connected to the motor, and an elastic member provided between the first metallic member and the second metallic member. At least one of the first metallic member and the second metallic member includes a contact increasing portion configured to increase a contact area with the elastic member.

The indoor unit includes a housing comprising a front panel and a rear panel coupled to a rear portion of the front panel, at least one discharge outlet exposed to a front of the front panel, at least one suction inlet formed in the rear panel at a position corresponding to the discharge outlet, at least one heat exchanger disposed at a front portion of the suction inlet to absorb heat from air introduced through the suction inlet or transfer heat to the air introduced through the suction inlet, and at least one diagonal flow fan disposed between the heat exchanger and the discharge outlet to suction air passing through the heat exchanger and discharge the air through the discharge outlet.

Indoor unit of air conditioner and method of controlling the air conditioner

A fan including a hub part, a blade part and a vibration-absorbing boss, all constituent elements of which are injection molded, thereby reducing production costs. The fan has a minimized contact area between the vibration-absorbing boss and the hub part to prevent the vibration-absorbing boss from being deformed by high-temperature heat during insert injection molding of the hub part and the blade part while assuring sufficient strength of the hub part.
