Examples of the disclosure provide systems and methods for managing product returns. A computing system receives, from a user device, a request for returning a product, compares device identifier data associated with the user device with registered data associated with one or more customer accounts to identify a first customer account associated with the user device, analyzes transaction data associated with the first customer account to determine whether the product is associated with the first customer account, generates an instruction to position the product in a predetermined area, and determines whether the product is positioned in the predetermined area to facilitate a return of the product. Aspects of the disclosure may improve user experience, user efficiency, and/or user interaction performance by processing a product return in an effective and efficient manner.

Managing product returns associated with a user device

Examples provide a system for customizing remote interactions-related real-time assistance for trainees during training exercises. The system analyzes a first set of actions taken by a trainee during a first interaction using a set of recommended action criteria to generate an interaction score indicating a degree of conformity with recommended action criteria. The system analyzes a second set of actions taken by the trainee during a different second interaction. If the second set of actions are conforming or the interaction score is within an acceptable threshold range, the system continues to monitor the second interaction without providing assistance. If the second set of actions are non-conforming and the interaction score is within an unacceptable threshold range, the system provides real-time interaction assistance to the trainee, such as by outputting interaction recommendation instructions and/or assigning a more experience user to assist the trainee.

The present disclosure deals with an apparatus and method associated with a self-depositing of items. In exemplary embodiments, an item may be self-deposited using a self-deposit apparatus. In exemplary embodiments, self-deposit apparatus may include an optical reader, first scale, image capturing device, a bin and a second scale. The first scale may be coupled with the optical reader and image capturing device. The item may be placed on self-deposit apparatus and the weight and image may be captured. The self-deposit apparatus may extract the dimensions of the item from the captured image. The self-deposit apparatus may verify the item intended for the self-deposit is associated with the item identified by the identifier by matching the weight, dimension and image of the item to a stored item weight, dimensions and image.

Described in detail herein are systems and methods for providing a live image feed of a physical object in a section within the facility. In exemplary embodiments, physical objects can be disposed in a facility within multiple sections. Image capturing devices and kiosks can also be disposed in the facility. A kiosk can receive a search input string associated with a physical object. The kiosk can transmit the search input string to the central computing system. The central computing system can determine the exact physical location within the section of the facility in which the physical object is supposed to be disposed. The central computing system can determine the closest image capturing device to the exact physical location within the section of the facility in which the physical object is supposed to be disposed. The central computing system can control the determined image capturing device to capture a live video feed of the exact physical location within the section of the facility in which the physical object is supposed to be disposed. The central computing system can switch the input of the kiosk to display the captured live video feed.

A shopping cart comprises a shopping cart body and a handle coupled to the shopping cart body. The handle includes a haptic feedback device for providing haptic feedback when the shopping cart body is in motion and a speaker that provides audio feedback when the shopping cart body is in motion along a navigation path at which an item of interest is positioned. The shopping cart further comprises an object detection device for detecting objects along the navigation path in communication with the haptic feedback device and/or the speaker for providing feedback or audio feedback, respectively. A navigation device identifies the navigation path to the item of interest. A special purpose processor processes a shopping list application that includes the item of interest, and communicates with the navigation device to determine the navigation path at which the item of interest is positioned.

Methodologies, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for reading machine readable features of objects. A local terminal generates a temporary object number corresponding to an unreadable object and captures an image of the unreadable object. A message is sent to a number of portable devices requesting that a duplicate of the unreadable object be located and that a machine readable feature on the duplicate object be read. Once a duplicate object is located, one of the portable devices reads a machine readable feature on the duplicate object, and the portable device calls a service offered by a server to retrieve a data value corresponding to the duplicate item from a database. Methods and systems are provided for synthesizing and displaying distributed data using Near Field Communication (NFC). A system includes a plurality of NFC-enabled mobile devices, a NFC base transmitter generating a Radio Frequency (RF) field, and a central computing device in electronic communication with the NFC base transmitter. Each NFC-enabled mobile device has a NFC payload encoding a unique user identifier that corresponds to a quantity of user data associated with a mobile application on that mobile device. The NFC base transmitter is configured to the NFC payload(s) of mobile devices being within a certain range of the RF field. The system is programmed to generate a plurality of user interface elements based on the quantities of user data, and instruct a display device to render a visual representation of each user interface element at display coordinates determined based on the quantities of user data.
