Provided are methods for treating trigeminal nerve pain in a subject in need thereof. The method may include administering to the subject by perineural injection of the trigeminal nerve a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist, such as guanfacine. The composition may further comprise lidocaine.

Methods of treating trigeminal nerve pain

Disclosed herein are methods for preventing, treating, or reducing the severity of a cardiac surgery-associated acute kidney injury and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation-associated acute kidney injury in a subject. The methods include administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a leukotriene receptor antagonist compound.

Methods of treatment for a kidney disease

Thromboxane A2 receptor antagonists, such as ifetroban, inhibit solid tumor metastasis. The formation of surface and microscopic lung metastases are inhibited. Thromboxane A2 receptor antagonists can inhibit the tumor metastasis process without affecting the growth or development of a primary tumor.
